Welcome to our Alpine Lake Haus, a log cabin situated on the shores of Lake Quivira just below St. Mary’s Glacier. Only an hour from downtown Denver, but feels like a world away! Perfect for family fun, cozy couples, hikers, girls weekend, folks who fish, snowshoe or other activities for up to 6 guests!
This open concept, two level 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin has all the amenities that you need to create a memorable vacation with family or friends.
Relax and enjoy the view from most every window or go out and hike the breathtaking trails that surround the area. The trailhead to head up to the Glacier is steps away and the hike itself is ¾ mile each way. Head beyond the glacier to James Peak if you are up for the challenge of a 13,000 ft peak.

A well equipped kitchen welcomes you to create any meal your chef’s heart desires. Bring your groceries and creativity and whip up a meal to remember!
The dining table seats six comfortably for mealtimes and evening card games. The nearby island has three barstools if you like to spread out.
Stretch out on the nearby cozy couch to watch a movie, read a book or snuggle with your person.
When it’s time for rest – we have you covered. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and is located on the main floor with a bathroom just outside. The view from the master bed makes it hard to get out of bed in the morning!
Head upstairs for two more bedrooms and a bathroom. There are queen sized beds in both bedrooms and fabulous views to take in from each window.
Nestled between the upstairs bedrooms is a loft with a small tv and game area for kids or those that need some time away from the group.

In the spring, summer and fall - you can fish with a private fishing badge and enjoy a beautiful hike to St. Mary's Glacier. In the winter, you will switch to snow shoes and enjoy the Glacier totally snow covered! Any time of the year - we know you will enjoy your quiet stay here in St. Mary's!

* 4WD vehicles are strongly encouraged from November through May due to our winter driving conditions.
* The cabin is located at 10,300ft elevation. This can lead to high altitude sickness in some. We recommend that you hydrate before and during your stay.
* Occasional water, power or internet service disruption may occur due to the weather/location of the cabin. These are infrequent, but can occur.
* We cannot offer refunds for any of these conditions.
* Also keep in mind that we are 20 minutes away from the nearest grocery store - so stock up on what you need before you head up the hill.
