We are not talking a peek-a-boo view. We are talking a GORGEOUS, SPECTACULAR, WIDE OCEAN VIEW, with islands too.
Enjoy our tropical paradise located on the desirable front row of the resort, overlooking the boat launch, the ocean and the islands of Kaho'olawe and Lana'i. The popular Kamaole III Beach State Park is also across the street, and the beautiful, long Keawakapu Beach is a short walk in the other direction. Kamaole II and Kamaole I and Charley Young are the other sandy, white beaches that are within walking distance. Of course, there are many other world famous beaches in South Maui that are just a short drive.

We maintain the property, so that people want to return to our condo. The kitchen and bathrooms have been completely remodeled. Enjoy the granite counters, the lyptus wood cabinets, and tile floors throughout the condo. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the full-size washer and dryer are so convenient. We have a quiet dishwasher. THE KING SIZE SERTA BED IS SO COMFORTABLE. We have a complete bedroom set and beautiful window coverings. A retractable awning over the patio makes it seem as if you have an extra room.

Just pack a swimsuit and a couple of changes of clothes, and you are ready to vacation at our condo. Yes, we have beach towels, beach chairs, and a sun umbrella. Of course, there is a cooler too.

The lanai is a great place to relax, watch the whales, and see the sunset. Enjoy the view or read a book while sunning on the lounge chair. But wait, there is more! We have a retractable awning over the lanai. That allows you to have sun or shade. When the awning is out, It is like having another room! An extra bonus is the enclosed, private courtyard off of the bedroom. We love to add exotic plants and see how they grow. The grounds of the resort are beautiful and spacious.

The condo is decorated with original art (done by the owners) that enhances the tropical atmosphere and sets it apart from others.

The tile floor gives a contemporary and clean feel. There is no sand filled carpet.

One of our previous renters wrote, 'As always we've had a wonderful, restful stay in your lovely condo. Thank you for keeping it so well equipped and in such tip-top shape. We always feel as if we are 'home' when we are here.' Another sums it up with, "Condo was perfect".

Property was even better than expected. Beautiful lanai overlooking the ocean and fantastic location a short walk from town and great beaches. We felt welcome the second we stepped in the door, Linda and Doug clearly take pride in sharing their unit with others. Large living room and bedroom allowed us to spread out. Everything you could want in a Kihei condo. Spotlessly, clean, lovely towels, and linens, very comfortable king size bed, quiet for sleeping. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need for cooking at home. Previous guests had left behind some staples in the kitchen. So much nicer than coming somewhere with only salt and pepper in the cupboards. The owners have taken great care to make sure their guests enjoy their stay.

Outstanding Stay

Our stay at the condo was terrific. Everything you needed was at your fingertips. And the view of the ocean hits you in the face, even from just stepping into the hallway, you can see it. The Kamaole beaches are perfect for snorkeling or body boarding or just relaxing. The grounds are well kept up and it’s a nice quiet community. We definitely recommend this unit.

The condo was comfortable with all the amenities you could need. Location was ideal near great beaches, close to all the Kihei conveniences but at the quiet Wailea end of town. Also convenient to exploring the island with Lahaina, Kahului, and upcountry all less than 45 minutes away. So many people have praised the view. And with very good reason. Wow!!

We had such a great experience staying in Linda and Doug’s Maui condo. The house was well-stocked (beach towels and gear, spare linens, washing-up supplies, kitchen tools, etc), beautifully furnished, and comfortable. Linda was excellent about reaching out with information about the booking, things to do on Maui, and helpful hints about the running of the house (internet, SmartTV apps, A/C’s, electronic awning, etc). The lanai is a gorgeous place to wake up with coffee, the roosters, and the ocean view. Book this space; you won’t regret it!

Location is prime, host even better

Great experience as we have stayed at several spots over the years in Maui. Location was great and the perfect walking distance to everything and to get a little exercise daily! Pool was clean and not too crowded and the space was well appointed with everything you need. I could go on and on about the best parts! Our family of 4 was very comfy and Linda was so helpful in answering questions and offering advice. Best host we have ever rented from and we do rent a lot of homes traveling with children (not babies anymore). I just wish VRBO would get rid of the fee structure they recently added as it didn’t used to exist.

Location, Location, Location!!!

Wow, what a perfect location. We had a wonderful week at the Mitchell's beautiful condo. The pictures are accurate, it is large, recently remodeled and has a great view from the lanai. We spent every evening enjoying the sunset there. Short walk to Kamaole beaches, short drive to great snorkeling beach (Ulua Beach, highly recommended, many turtles and fish), close to many restaurants and shops, and it includes beach chairs and boogie boards in the closet! We would totally recommend this condo to friends and family and hope to return soon. Thanks to Linda for providing so much helpful info on the area, restaurants, etc. Easy check in process, everything was perfect! Thanks!!

Wonderful Stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the condo, with its very close access to the beach — it’s a lovely oceanfront stroll to fantastic local food / coffee / bakeries. The lanai is perfect for afternoon relaxing out of the sun. Then a short walk back out to the beach for stunning sunsets. And it’s a short drive (or a nice early morning run) to our favorite snorkel / paddle board spots in Wailea. The kitchen was perfect for when we wanted quick, low hassle breakfast & coffee/tea — also good for throwing together a low key dinner. The condo was very quiet (no shared walls, only a shared ceiling with a quiet, friendly upstairs neighbor). The bed was wonderfully comfy, and the washer/dryer was the perfect addition, letting us pack less! And the art on the walls was a welcoming, beautiful touch. Overall, a wonderfully relaxing and pleasant stay! :-)

Condo review We had an incredible time in Maui staying here! The condo is in pristine condition, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything you need for your holiday! It is very spacious with a large master bedroom and a very comfortable, modern sofa bed in the living room. My son slept incredibly well on it. My favorite part was waking up to a breathtaking oceanfront view and enjoying my morning cup of coffee. As well, I enjoyed all the beautiful, native birds that visit you near the patio! The pool area and grounds are lovely and there are plenty of barbecues. You won’t be disappointed! Thank you Linda and Doug for making our holiday on Maui so memorable! 🤗

Fabulous condo

We always rent a condo when we go on vacation. We expect there to be dishes, flatware, cookware, and maybe salt and pepper. This place was amazing! It had everything we could possibly need from cooking spices to popcorn to cleaning supplies and laundry detergent, plus a blender and an toaster, and beach paraphernalia Including chairs, towels, boogie, boards, pool noodles, and sand toys. This condo is roomy and comfortable with tile floors and some throw rugs. Having two bathrooms is a definite plus. Some of the artwork on the walls was painted by the owners and it is very tropical and pleasing. This condo also has a washer and dryer so we were able to do some laundry and therefore didn’t have to pack as much to take on vacation. The view from the lanai is perfect for sunsets and watching the boats launch across the street, taking people to Molokini and to go fishing. We had breakfast on the lanai nearly every morning. They also have an extended awning that you can roll out so you can have more shade in the afternoon. The pool area is a short walk from the condo as are the barbecues. I loved spending our vacation here and would definitely go back again.

The best Maui rental imaginable!

I almost hesitated to glow so much because I want to be able to book again next time I am in Maui and this place is sure to be full... but Linda was so wonderful to me that I cannot be selfish. I thought long and hard about what could possibly be missing from this rental and there is nothing. They have thought about absolutely everything. Any fun supply you would need for the beach is there, ready for you to use. I have a good friend who lives in Maui and has visitors a lot, and she said that this condo was the nicest rental any of her friends had gotten. The quality of every little touch inside the place doesn't really show in the photos. I mean, I loved the photos and was excited we got this place, but in person it really exceeds expectations. When you are doing your shopping right upon arrival, rest assured that there are plenty coffee filters and little touches like that that you do not need to buy. You might want to see the kitchen before your first shopping trip. We spent so much time on the lanai looking at that sea view and just soaking it all in. The location was absolutely perfect- so convenient. Like I said, I cannot wait to return. If this place is available for your dates, don't hesitate! It is really the best and well worth the price.

Fabulous spot! We spent a ton of time relaxing on the patio and taking in the view. Amazing sunsets from the grass lawn every night. Surprisingly quiet and private given the convenient location. 5 minute walk to popular Kam III beach. 15 minute walk to shops/restaurants. Apartment is clean, spacious, and well appointed with everything we needed. Bed is vert comfortable. Plenty of closet/drawer space to unpack and settle in. Maui Kamaole has the best community pools (2 on the property) in the area. Linda was responsive and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Highly recommend this rental and host. We will be back for sure!

My husband and I had a wonderful week while staying at this unit. The proximity between Kihei and Wailea were ideal. Not in the noisy or busy traffic areas that some of Kihei have, but right near the public boat launch - which was fun to see the morning activity. The unit supplied literally everything a visitor would need. As my husband said, "All I needed was a pair of shorts and a credit card!" The unit has all the traveler's items without the need to go rent or purchase them once you're there. We enjoyed the pool, walking, whale watching (even with binoculars to borrow!) We would recommend this, however, we want it available for our next Maui vacation!

Better than we hoped for!

Linda’s condo is in the PERFECT location! It’s just a short walk south from all the Kihei hustle and restaurants and shops, and a very short drive north of Wailea and the fancy resorts and expensive shops. Eating dinners out on the lanai/patio was a highlight, because you have a front row seat to the worlds best sunsets. Kihei is the perfect place to stay no matter what the agenda is, and although we weren’t sure if we would have preferred west Maui, I can assure you after spending a week here, we will be returning to this spot!

Many years ago we went to Maui with our boys. After our first trip, they always wanted to choose Maui as our vacation spot. We had to agree. Maui no ka oi...Maui is the best.
We love the warmth of the air and the ocean water. We are both artists and belong to a couple of groups of artists who paint on location in Maui. We decorate the condo with our original art of Maui.
Doug is a retired high school teacher whose interests include golf and gardening.
Linda manages the rental, loves to paint, and "do lunch". Both of us are typical grandparents who think our grandkids are wonderful.
It has added to our pleasure to get to know our renters who also love Maui as much as we do. We're happy to answer questions about the condo and Maui. Who wouldn't want to talk about the beauty and opportunities on Maui?

We love the beaches in South Maui. We appreciated that this property is low-rise, low density and has beautiful landscaping. There is definitely a luxury feel. We were most excited by the ocean view, and the large, quiet area of green lawn in front of our condo. We especially appreciate that the ocean is visible from the kitchen and the living area. The location is wonderful as a place to enjoy and use as a home base to explore the rest of the island.

What makes this property unique

Our location on Maui is hard to beat. We have easy access to amazing beaches, golf, dining, and shopping. Our original art work done on Maui (by us) enhances the ambiance of our condo. Our favorite breakfast on the lanai is a fruit smoothie which we make in the condo's blender with a mixture of many tropical fruits. Then we know we are home. We go to the beach almost every morning, sometimes with our art supplies. We swim, walk, and paint a local scene. When we return to the condo, we enjoy the beauty and the peaceful atmosphere. We are just minutes from the resorts and shops of the beautiful and ritzy area of Wailea, so when we want to be in on the resort scene, we have access to the amenities without the high hotel bills. We have supplied our condo with many extras to help our guest in packing light.
A huge benefit to our guests is that we are service oriented and do all we can to ensure a good stay.
