Has potential but needs updating

The cottage was small. I stayed with my husband and 14 pound dog. It is very old and in need of some upgrades. No frills that’s for sure. Kitchen was stocked with essential only. It was very clean and owners were quick to respond. We did not sleep well there. Between the uncomfortable mattress and the smoke detectors chirping all night, our first night’s sleep was not so good. Overall it was ok.
