Quiet lakeside getaway

This property was amazing. 10 acres of woods with a large private lake. We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet and relaxation. There are lots of small towns nearby that are fun to explore. The host family were so kind and personable. Thank you!

Awesome place.

Very quaint and private. The grounds are roomy with a private lake for fishing and kayaking. The cottage is spacious with amenities provided. The hosts are perfect and bring fresh eggs in the morning. This was our 4th year staying here.

Perfect!

My mom and I had a wonderful time there celebrating her 70th Birthday! We relaxed, took in the scenery, entertained some family. Rebecca and Don were awesome hosts. We will definitely book again.

Peaceful retreat

This was our first VRBO rental and it was perfect for our weekend away! We loved the walk around the pond, the view from the sunroom and the secluded location. Rebecca was kind and very sweet. We would recommend this spot to anyone!

We had a fantastic time! Rebecca and her husband were so thoughtful, and truly tried to go the extra mile to make us feel welcome. They brought us carrot cake and farm fresh eggs.

Northern Cottage

We had a wonderful 5 day vacation at this cottage. My husband was so excited about the fishing. The bass were hungry. He caught 9!!!! We enjoyed our stay.

We had a great time! Property was beautifully landscaped, with all sorts of nooks and crannies to discover and enjoy. Fresh eggs from owner’s fun assortment of birds. Right next to state park. Beautiful, peaceful and super relaxing! Highly recommend a stay here!

A wonderful, unique, " magical" property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this well- kept, wonderfully decorated, quiet and peaceful cabin. The lake and trail around it were peaceful and pleasant. The proximity to Chain O Lakes S.P. allowed us to hike for longer distances and kayak. We hope to return in the Fall. Loved the little decorated cabins and sheds nearby, and thenpeacocks and chickens.

Relaxing Location

We chose the spot for its quiet and country atmosphere. We were not disappointed. The place was full of wildlife, the pond was beautiful and the fountain in it was very relaxing. We watched a small painter turtle and bull frog on the shore each morning and evening. We definitely would like to visit again. And spend more time at the property this time.

This was the most relaxing vacation i have had for a long time. Of all the places i have stayed this was by far the homiest. They definitely go the extra mile to make you comfortable. Caught so many fish our fingers were sore from taking them off the hook :)

A PRIVATE PARADISE

This place was perfect! Secluded & private. The hosts were friendly & accomodating. Loved the fresh eggs, walking around the lake, the animals, and my husband loved the fishing!! He caught so many fish!! The use of the paddleboat & row boat is a big plus too! New fridge & stove too! Loved the comfy bed. Small town not too far away if you want to get out for awhile. We'll be back.

A Must Stay!

One of the best weekends was spent at this charming cottage. Rebecca and Don were such lovely hosts. The property is off the beaten path and so quirky and charming. We fell in love with it! Our dog was in heaven, as well. Walk right out to the back to your little piece of Heaven with the lake, trees and everything in between! We absolutely cannot wait to return! Thank you for a memorable experience and your gracious hospitality.

Private Paradise

Was a wonderful getaway with my youngest son. We had a blast! My son lost count somewhere around 40 fish caught he said. It was harder keeping him supplied with bait than anything else. Great place, great location, wonderful owners!! I would recommend this rental to anyone looking to fish, grill, and just get away from everything and everyone! Two thumbs up all around!!

Dogs first vacation with us

We all had a great time. The state park is great we took the dog on a ride in a canoe and experienced the hiking. The cottage was so relaxing. I loved reading on the screened in porch and the sunroom. My husband went out in the morning and at night fishing and caught many fish he is a catch and release guy so dont worry there's lots of fish left. We would go back again.

Peaceful

A unique and peacefully quite property. Go out on the lake in the rowboat and catch some fish or just drift along and take in natures activities. You can hike around the lake and explore and check out all the buildings if you wish. They even have peacocks and chickens. The house is clean and well maintained. You will find everything you need except groceries. If you like peace and quiet this place has your name on it.
