The cottage is just steps away from Sylvan Lake in Rome City, IN. Sylvan Lake is a 700-acre all-sports lake, where you can enjoy jet skis, swimming, fishing, skiing or just boating around the 16 miles of shoreline.

Spring, summer, and fall guests will enjoy water sports and area attractions like Sundaes on Sylvan, Sylvan Cellars Event Center, including the Craft Tasting Room. Fantastic July 4th stay

Excellent location easily accessible by boat or car. Sara was very communicative and helpful whenever we had a question. The cottage was clean and the AC was kicking. Neighbors are friendly and we really loved the lake. This was our first time on Sylvan and we will absolutely be back.

Beautiful view, cute and cozy! Only thing I seen that needed cleaned was the loft carpet was in pretty rough shape. But I just told my daughter to stay out of there and we had a nice stay. I would stay again.

Perfect little lake house

We enjoyed our quick stay for a concert at Sylvan Cellars. Enjoyed being right on the lake and using the kayaks to explore. The screen porch was the perfect place to sit in the evening and mornings. Will be back again.

Beautiful lake home

I stayed here with my 2 sisters and our mother. The house is very cute and in a pretty good location. It was clean and everything was in working order and it had everything we needed. There was plenty of room for us all. We even was able to book it 5 or 6 days before our trip. That was a big relief, we really appreciated it.

Spent the weekend. The space is adorable with a wonderful full kitchen. Large main bedroom, and full loft. The futon in the living room folds out. The cabin is spotless and well appointed. The screened in porch makes for some great views and bug free nights. Wood and chairs even provided for the firepit. Very comfortable.

The cottage has been beautifully remodeled. Loved the view of the lake from the screened in porch. Took advantage of kayaks and was grateful they were there to us. We did not want for anything. Was appreciative of responses from host to my questions! Usually don’t go to same place twice but this cottage, etc has changed my mind!

Another Wonderful Stay

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at one of the two cottages, 2nd time at this "little" cabin. It is plenty roomy enough for the two of us & maybe next time a few grandkids who would love the loft! We really enjoyed sitting on the screened porch for our meals looking out over the lake. It was a short walk to the boat dock. The place is clean & efficient with quality bedding, towels, dishes, appliances, etc. Host is quick to reply and help out in anyway possible. Thank you!

WONDERFUL!

We loved the cabin! There was plenty of room & the screened in porch was so nice to have meals on everyday while looking out over the lake. The quality of linens, dishes, appliances etc were all very high. The access to the boatslip was just a short walk down the front lawn. My emails were always answered promptly. We only had a long weekend but we were able to unwind and relax and will keep this one on our favorites list to visit again. We appreciate you sharing your cabin.
