Everything was excellent. Beautiful view of the lake. Had everything you needed in this home. Just bring your clothes and food everything else is provided. Lived our stay!!
Such a clean, comfortable property! Fun lake decor inside and nice deck outside with lots of shade and flowers. Good times boating, swimming, and fishing!
Great relaxing getaway. We enjoyed the paddle boat. Beautiful lake, the cottage is wonderful, so
We had a great time. Enjoyed being on the lake, watching the turtles. Early morning paddle boat rides were beautiful. We saw a bald eagle, a doe and her fawn, geese, and ducks. The lake house is cozy. We slept great. Such an enjoyable time.
We stayed at the sweet lake cottage with our son and his fiance. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you would need to prepare a meal. The lakefront deck provided amazing views and was a perfect place to enjoy that first cup of coffee. ThePaddle boat and fishing poles provided lots of fun as did tbe lakefront firepit.
Everything was perfect. The view is amazing. We celebrated our anniversary and husband’s birthday. The owners thought of everything! Even poop bags for your fuzzy kids. Highly recommend.
We were just in for a weekend getaway, this spot was perfect. Great view and access to the lake. My boys enjoyed going out fishing and just being outside. Everything was good!
We just spent our 4th new year retreat at Skinner Lake cottage. It is so peaceful, comfortably furnished, close to great places to eat and shop. We bring all our books, make a meal or tea, and relax. Monday was sunny and we had our coffee and read out on the deck. We love this place!
Everything was so comfortable! Comfy bed and living room outdoor space! A little hidden behind some out buildings but everything was so cute and had everything we needed!
Probably not the place for family vacations, but my wife and I were very happy with our stay. If you’re wanting a place to just go and relax with your special someone this is a great choice.
Well equipped and well kept property with a lovely lake view.
A very relaxing place to stay with some nice things to do near by. We enjoyed reading, watching Tv and an afternoon at beautiful Chain of Lakes State Park.

Fun weekend getaway
Backyard and lake were beautiful. Paddle boat an adventure as well. House was very clean. Just don’t judge the house by its front yard.
This was our second year to enjoy time at the Lake Cottage. The "lake" theme is tastefully carried throughout. Access to the paddle boat and the canoe is a plus. Really enjoy waking up in the morning, sitting on the deck, and enjoying the view across the lake. The owners are wonderful to work with. We will definitely be looking to rent it for a third time.
Clean and comfortable! Appreciated the little extras like coffee/tea. Outdoor area an added pleasure with choices of activities or relaxing during our wonderful weekend on Skinner Lake!
This is a nice and spacious cabin, right on the lake. The cabin is well appointed and supplied, and clearly well cared for. The back deck would be very nice for the summertime (not so much for us in winter). I took one star off for location because the front of the cabin is right on the highway (set back a bit), with neighbors all around. However, sitting in the back you may not notice.
The host provided everything guests needed and more. The place was lovely and peaceful - just what we wanted. Beautiful lake view from the deck. Loved the fact that bottles of cold water were in the refrigerator for us when we arrived - much needed and so thoughtful. I use a walker and all rooms, porch and deck were accessible.
We enjoyed our stay here for the second time! The house was clean, spacious, fully furnished and had the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The lake out back is beautiful!
The host was very responsive, attentive and helpful!
