This beautiful lake home has been newly remodeled in 2023 all new flooring, Beds, Bedding, Dishes etc. Appliances are from 2016 It is fully furnished and stocked with everything you will need for a relaxing getaway.
Just bring your clothes, toiletries and Beach Towels and food!
The master bedroom has a King size bed while the second and third bedrooms both have 2 full size bed's each.
2 Bathrooms include a tub shower, also a half Bath by the Living room
Beautiful big yard on the road and lake side.
Enjoy the 4 season room and Sun Room that overlooks the 40 yrd wide channel.
Fish from the Pier or Sea Wall or head out on the lakes
Explore all 5 connecting Lakes (Witmer, Westler, Dallas, Hackenburg and Messick).
A beautifull sandy beach perfect for swimming for all ages.

Beautiful location!

Stayed for a 4 day fishing trip. House was emasculate and had all the amenities . Quiet channel location. Comfy beds!! Would stay again.

Weekend escape

Wonderful Week

Excellent as Usual!

This is our 3rd time staying here and it was excellent as usual. Relaxed outside a lot, did a lot of fishing and caught the most this trip. Had many fires and made many memories. Will be back!

Our 13th cousin get together!

What a fantastic place! Cleanest place we have ever rented. Kitchen was complete like it was your own. Comfortable beds, all bedding was very nice, more than enough towels for the 7 of us. We enjoyed meeting with the owner, very nice! Would recommend this house to everyone! Thank you Barb for letting us stay!

Great place to stay during a Sylvan Cellars wedding

Spacious home in a quiet neighborhood with room for 10 people to sleep in beds. They have comfortable furniture. Beautiful view of the channel where we enjoyed watching ice fishers. The game room provided great evening entertainment. Would definitely recommend this place and the owner who communicated well.

House had plenty of room and was perfect!

The house was the perfect size for our 1 year old to run around in and had a nice big couch in the main living room for lounging around on. Kitchen was also well stocked for us to cook all of our meals. It’s not far from Shipshewana, so we went and saw the Lights of Joy while we were there. Hope we can come back sometime, but when it’s warmer!

A Nice Getaway

We enjoyed the space available in the house. The kids loved the beach area. Everyone enjoyed being able to take the boat out and swim or fish. The kayaks were fun, too. We generally vacation far away from home, and this is the first time we have ever rented a “lake place” close to home. We will likely do this again.

Quiet and Relaxing

Was looking for a break from city life just for a few days to recharge and this house filled the bill. The house was very clean and well stocked with all the cooking and cleaning necessities. Lots of towels linens provided and the "welcome book" very nice and had lots of helpful information. The bedrooms were roomy, plenty of linens provided and the view from the master bedroom, is gorgeous at night. Our only problem was that we wish we could've stayed longer--until next time, thank you!

Mother Daughter Weekend

House is beautiful and so roomy. Living room is huge and so well stocked with books, games and movies. We did not use the game room, but if you have kids it would be great for them. Sitting in the sunroom just watching the water in the channel was so relaxing. Best stocked kitchen we have ever seen, we like to cook some of our meals and had plenty of pots, pans, dishes etc. Barbel is a wonderful hostess, we had questions on how to use the coffee maker and she was so patient with us. We loved that is was such a quiet street and was able to take daily walks. We can't wait to rent this house again.

What a wonderful weekend! The house was perfect for our group of 7 ladies on our Girls Weekend! We loved the view of the lake! Great location to venture out to the various towns. We shopped till we dropped and then went back to a relaxing home!The owner was wonderful and responded quickly to answer any questions we had.

Scrapbook Retreat

Extra room for family on Thanksgiving

We have a 2 bedroom home on Dallas and when our kids and significant others come for holidays we don't have enough beds, etc. This place was perfect for what we needed. Clean, owners take care of the place. We'll use it again!

Beautiful home

It is a beautiful home and location. Great for a larger group. We would love to stay here again in the future. Quiet, peaceful and right on the lake. It is close to all the Amish areas and lots of history around the county.

Cottage

This cottage has everything that you could possibly need as far as kitchen, linens, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, papertowels, Tupperware containers to store left overs. I could go on and on, just pack your bag and pick up groceries and you're set. I have only positive things to say about this cottage and the owners.

Comfortable, clean and quiet

This was the perfect home for us to to enjoy some quality time with extended family. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped and the six of us could all enjoy meals together at the dining room table, screened porch or outdoor patio. My teenage son spent hours catching channel catfish and we kayaked most days. While the lake was busy on the weekend (July visit) it was very tranquil all week. There are a couple close places to get dinner or ice cream and the neighborhood is quiet. It was really the perfect getaway.

Perfect vacation!

The house was tip top and so very nice !! Everything you’d need for a perfect vacation ! Kids had a great time ! Loved the kayaks they were able to use! Owner was super nice ! Great area to take a walk too!
