Wonderful stay. Living space and kitchen were well appointed. Bathrooms.were.spacious, but an extra towel rack or hooks upstairs would be helpful. Kayaks and fire pit were great. There is no sandy entrance to the water and it was kind of weedy/mucky, so swimming at the lakeside was not doable.

Great place, listing was accurate. We stayed with 6 friends for relaxing and fun weekend. Plenty of room in living room and big table for gathering around to play games. House was very clean. Weather was very hot, but A/C worked well. Nice big tree provided shade outside. Good view of lake. Pellet grill onsite that works great. Beds were all comfortable. King bed and upstairs floors were 'squeaky' Quick responce from host. We would stay again.

Howe Lake House

We enjoyed our stay. We were disappointed that the dock was so high. We couldn't dock our pontoon to it. Thankfully there was a ladder on the concrete wall that we used heavily. There needs to be more silverware (only had 4 forks) and more than one hand towel and dish rag. Peaceful place!

Great place with a beautiful view for anyone visiting Shipshewana.

Our stay at Anglers place was great. The house is tidy, the beds were plentiful and the linens were clean. I was a little disappointed that we couldn't just walk in the water, but the breakwall was short and there is a ladder, on the wall, to get down. It seemed a little mucky, but we were there to shop, not to swim. I was just bummed I forgot my fi cuzshing pole! The view is breathtaking! All in all, a great place to stay!!!

The house was incredibly clean and nicely decorated. The shed was stocked with all sorts of fun floats for the kids. The lake has no beach so a pool ladder is used to get in and out. The kids loved jumping off the pier. The water was about 2 1/2 feet deep at its most shallow point which was great for swimming and fishing. We caught a few blue gill, sunfish, and large mouth. We would definitely go back again!!

Family vacation

Very nice home. Great location overlooking Pigeon lake. Relaxing and quiet neighborhood. Property management was awesome, very responsive to assist with a couple of concerns with tub drainage, garbage disposal and AC filter changes. WiFi was not suitable for remote work. We had enough plates and cups for 6 people. Serving casserole bowls were limited, which was ok but unexpected compared to other vacation homes we had visited in the past. Towels were clean but musty smell, we resolved by washing ourselves. The BBQ grill was fancy but was not clean by previous visitors (husband spent 30 min cleaning before we used it). Overall recommended to return to this property.

Awesome Hostess

Sara is an amazing hostess. Anything we needed and asked of her was provided with no problem. We needed a mixer and she asked us if needed it tonight or tomorrow. It was delivered at the door by 9 AM the next morning. My granddaughters came and loved the kayaks and went out on the lake. life vests and all were provided for them. She goes out of her way to provide a pleasant experience for her guest. House was very clean and well kept. The view of the lake was excellent and so relaxing to sit and watch the swans and drink a cup of coffee every morning. Would definitely go back.
