Apartment Kiel-Wik // Quiet and central in the maritime district

The sunny, completely renovated apartment at the end of 2015 is located in the Wik district, in a quiet cul-de-sac location in the north of the state capital Kiel.

The apartment is ideal for 2 people and accordingly furnished, but the pull-out sofa bed means that the apartment can be used with 3 people without any problems.

In addition to the attic apartment (2nd Floor), consisting of a bedroom, a small hallway, a bathroom with a full bath and a living room with an open kitchen, there are two rental apartments in the detached house from 1934.

The neighborhood

In the immediate vicinity of the apartment are the Kiel Canal (7 minutes on foot), with a lock and a pedestrian ferry to the Holtenau district.

In just 5 minutes you can walk to the Tannenberg animal enclosure. It is approximately 40 hectares in size and, unlike the other enclosures, has the special feature that the free-roaming fallow deer, mouflon and roe deer can be encountered.

The Kiel Inner Fjord can also be reached in just 5 minutes on foot.
Start here, at the berth of the sailing school ship "Gorch-Fock", for a leisurely stroll along the 4.5 km long waterfront promenade, past the seaside resort to downtown Kiel.

If you are looking for relaxation on the beach, you will find the fine sandy, tourist tax-free Falckenstein beach on the west side of the Kiel Fjord. The beach is natural, there are wild herb meadows and dune grass fields, so that nature lovers and walkers will also get their money's worth. Because the water is shallow, there are no breakwaters and no tourist tax, the beach is a popular destination. This beach is only 10 minutes away by bus.

The city center can be reached within a few minutes by bus or bicycle.
