Casa Mencey Pelicar - Well-kept holiday house with pool

Our spacious house with pool in the sunny south of Tenerife has a living space of 80 square meters on two floors.
On the ground floor you will find the spacious living room with dining area, the well-equipped kitchen and a guest toilet.
From here you have access to the private terrace with a small romantic garden. Through the other exit you reach the communal pool of the small residential complex, which you can of course use.
On the upper floor are the two illuminated bedrooms (of course with folding blinds to darken) one with a balcony and the well-equipped bathroom.
Both bedrooms have large built-in wardrobes.

The house is located in a quiet residential complex where mostly locals and residents live.

In Chayofa you will find what you are looking for a vacation in the south: more than 300 sunny days a year, around 350 days without rain and a mild climate that lives up to Tenerife's name as the island of eternal spring.

A condo with a peak a small view of the Ocean. Condo has potential, but extremely disappointing in cleanliness and furnishings. No sheets on secondary bed, had to buy some. Walked in and the condo reeked of heavy cigarette smoke, took two days to clear. No basics in kitchen like clean linens, a stopper for the kitchen sink no top for the salt shaker! Kitchen was filthy when we arrived, cleaned dishes and cutlery again because of soiling, surprised due to Covid regulations. Scrubbed stove and broiling pan horribly dirty. Paco promised to drop by with a kitchen stopper and never did. Outside furniture coverings old and soiled, sat in a broken chair covered by a pad, whole thing crumpled, could have been cut or injured if I was a bigger person. Main couch inside stank and felt greasy and dirty, had to cover it with towels to sit on it. Pictures look nice, wood detailed doors etc, ten minute drive from major beaches. Upgrading some furniture decent beds and attention to normal details expected in a VRBo would give this property a higher rating. Will not return here or recommend it to friends.

Excellent house

Beautiful house in a lovely area of Chayofa.The house is well equipped with everything you need for holiday.Only criticism was there was no English TV which as it happens I read a lot more than usual.The other niggle was there isn’t a parking lot allocated to you so you have to look for somewhere to park which there are places not too far away.The scenery around was fabulous and only 5 mins away from Los Cristianos which is a bonuš.Also Sian Park retail outlet 5 mins in car.All supermarkets 5 mins in car.I do think you definitely need a car staying here.Being picky bed wasn’t the most comfortable but okay.The owner of the house is a lovely gentleman and anything you need he will try and accommodate you.Overall very pleased with our stay.We did stay here for 9 weeks.
