Beautiful Spot

Had a great stay at this cottage for our first trip to the Vineyard - with our 3-generation family. The separate “stay awhile” space was a great bonus to give us some extra space to spread out. The location is perfect to explore the island by car - easy drives to town in Oak Bluffs, Vineyard Haven, Edgardtown, and Chilmark. Only (minor) complaint is that the goose droppings prevented the kids from taking advantage of the beautiful yard at the house.

A gorgeous getaway and beautiful property

I had the pleasure of staying here with a group of 8 ladies during the first week of August. A few of us were working remotely, but there was plenty of space in the house and the detached garage for everyone to not feel crowded. The location is about 10 minutes from the airport and Inkwell Beach, depending on the time of day. The house was incredibly clean, including a dishwasher, washer, and dryer, which came in handy with all the trips to the beach. With the property able to sleep 8 people, the amount of trash did accumulate quite quickly, and the receptacles were a little small. Due to the likelihood of animals, we sorted and stored trash that didn’t fit in the outside bins in the house until our departure date. Bikes were also available for us to use, but didn’t have time to enjoy them with our busy schedules. We had an issue with the towel rack in the upstairs bathroom falling off the wall and one of the shelves in the fridge was cracked, but overall the property was amazing for our girls trip. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful pond, light and airy, well-stocked

Large deck, nice pond, well stocked house with bicycles in good working condition. Great location if you want to escape the crowded streets of downtown OB!

Duck pond

The property itself was lovely with a back deck overlooking a duck pond. The front of the property was adjacent to a bunch of parked trailers and heavy machinery. Hopefully that is temporary.
