Cute and cozy home, very close to the downtown area. I enjoyed eating outside in the backyard and drinking the coffee and tea provided by the host.We would stay there again.
Older home in quiet neighborhood. Fun place to relax and listen to old records and do puzzles! nice place to just chill after spending time with family in town for special birthday celebration
We had the best time hanging out at this lovely house for the weekend. We all wish we could have stayed longer. We love the house and will definitely be back! Cate was a gem to work with.
Very clean, older home with plenty of room. Could use a comfy couch, but other than that everything was awesome. Renter was very easy to work with and very responsive. Would stay again.
Cate's home was a perfect home base for my family to attend a wedding in the Battle Creek area. There was more than enough space for all of us and the location was convenient for all the wedding activities. You can tell that Cate cares for her guests with all the comforts of home that are provided. Thanks Cate!!
We were cozy and comfortable in this well-equipped, sweetly decorated, spacious home. The perfect place to stay while we visited family in the area, and hosted several for a backyard dinner. We loved the home’s character and appreciated the amenities, such as toiletries and a vast array of coffee and tea. Cate was a welcoming hostess, and very responsive by text. Would definitely stay here again!
This rental house is very nice and perfect for a family to stay in. The site description is accurate. They had a good coffee and tea selection! The owner is going to fix a functional issue the AC was having. Overall, this was a good find for staying in town for a wedding.
We were born in Battle Creek and returned to visit Aunt, Uncle and cousins. Perfect location with comfortable beds and provided us each a private space. The cottage had everything you could think of already stocked. Would return.
The owner, Cate, is a gem. She brought us treats from the bakery as a surprise. The backyard is such a peaceful place for morning coffee or afternoon wine. The kids enjoyed running around out there. The kitchen was fully stocked and set to cook and enjoy a nice meal. Comfy beds. Close to hiking. And affordable, which we very much appreciate.
The house was nice very clean and tidy. Lots of space for 6 people. There is no privacy in the shower however felt a little exposed as there’s no privacy glass for your upper half. Also the air conditioning was set way too high for in the summer. Loved the stereo (might have to get myself one) thankful for the bacon and eggs that was a nice surprise. Notice that there’s a fire pit would have been nice so we could have brought some firewood. But overall really enjoyed the stay
I had been looking for days lodging for my mother and I in the Battle Creek area. I had all but given up hope when I stumbled upon Cate's listing. It was more room than we needed, but looked adorable and was in a great location. We were fortunate to be the first guests in this new listing, and we were not disappointed! The home is an older home with all the charm of a historic home. The furnishings are a mix of period and modern - and all very comfortable. Cate really has thought of everything to ensure a comfortable stay. I cannot recommend this listing high enough. Do yourself a favor - book!
