Just okay
We rented this Vrbo for a family wedding at Carlos Creek Winery. It is less than a mile drive from the house which was great. We were able to bring our dogs (with the fee). There was enough room for (12) when we brought blow up mattresses. There was 4 bedrooms that can sleep 2 adults. There are two living rooms and two kitchens. The house was relatively clean, except the inside of the window sills were covered with an inch of dead bugs. We had a couple complaints: -the main floor oven doesn’t work. We wanted to make a pizza in the oven but it wouldn’t heat up. -several vent covers weren’t attached and came off. -the kitchen light fixture didn’t have a cover and insulation was exposed -both sets of stairs inside were EXTREMELY steep and narrow making it dangerous for kids and my parents -the garage code to get in was wrong. We entered it several time and messaged manager. They sent the same code. We were able to figure out on our own that they added an extra digit to the code. Once we took off the extra number the door opened. -the internet didn’t work. We messaged management and no one ever responded. If we would have known that ahead of time it would have been fine but the listing said there was internet so everyone expected it to work. - one bedroom can only be accessed through a bathroom - the main floor shower/tub drains slow. You are standing in ankle deep water by the end of your shower and took a hole to drain. Super gross.

A good house for dogs
Rented this house for a wedding at the winery. A convenient location for the winery. As a couple wanted to bring dogs, rented this house and it worked great for dogs and simply a place to sleep.

Good for Guys weekend, not family
This was an average property to stay at for the weekend. Only problem was that the property manager cared for it like it was a money grab. The code given to us to get in had an extra number so it took a while to figure that out as well as no cleanup/ move out instructions. The inside was clean with a nice downstairs kitchen and plenty of bedding and towels. But the garage had an old mold filled fridge. The yard was a mess! It hadn’t seen a lawnmower all summer and we went in August. The weeds and thistles were over 3ft around the house. Luckily there was a big gravel driveway to play yard games. It’s great for a group wanting a simple get away but it is not luxury by any means.

It was an ok dtay
Ad said sleeps 12 - Didn’t know til we got there that it only sleeps 8 and we had 9 people. The futon was broken so the staff had to bring out a blow-up bed. It was supposed to be ‘across the road from a lake’ - no, the driveway was about an eighth mile from the road and you couldn’t even SEE a lake. The picture showed a beautifully remodeled kitchen but that was in the basement and there were no dishes in the basement cupboards. Had to use that oven, though, because the oven on the main level didn’t work. The stopper in the main floor bath didn’t work and there was no soap provided for baths or showers. The a/c was set for 72 and the basement was 60 degrees with no way to change the temp in the basement. The 2 levels of stairs were so steep - that should be noted in the ad. We had a good time time despite the accommodations but the description was very misleading.

Satisfactory, not great not bad
First impression not great. 2 foot high thistles all around the property. Difficult for dogs to go out and go to bathroom, they couldn’t go run and play. We were not able to hold our family volleyball game due to no grassy areas without thistles. Inside was OK, clean and everything needed was there. However, No idea how this is advertised as sleeps 12. There are 3 double/queen beds, two twin and a couch that pulls out that sleeps one or two kids. We had 11 people, (6 adults with youngest child being 12) and luckily we brought an air mattress and cot just in case. It really sleeps 9 maybe 10 if two are small kids. No where to gather inside for more than a few people in one room. Location was great. Close to the boat launch to use our rented jet skis, and less than 10 minutes to a couple of restaurants. If you are planning on being outside at the lake, it works. If you are planning on staying at the house for family activities, might want to rethink it. Garage code was changed and we initially couldn’t get in, property manager answered phone right away and gave us new code. No issues with anything inside.
