Enjoy beautiful Lake Conroe in this newly renovated 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo in the gated community of April Sound. It is centrally located off Hwy 105 with easy access to restaurants and shopping. You can enjoy the breath-taking view of the water from the balcony while drinking your coffee or enjoying your favorite beverage. Stairs off the balcony take you right down to the water where you can tie off your boat or jet skis, or just play in the large green space below. Note: The entrance to Condo is is the 2nd floor of the building. You must climb stairs to enter the first floor of the condo. Long term stays available. Please inquire for price.

Great, private location

Kelly went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed and our stay was memorable! It was a great, private location with a beautiful view of the lake. The condo was very comfortable and our stay, overall, was very relaxing. Only complaint was we just wished we could’ve stayed longer!

Perfect lake retreat

We stayed here during a weekend at the Baseball Ranch. The condo was clean and very well stocked. Fabulous proximity to the lake where we relaxed on paddle boards after practice. The dogs loved all of the grass! Would definitely stay here again!

Cute place and great hosts!

My husband, three teens and I stayed here for a weekend. The hosts were incredibly welcoming - they had a welcome sign with our names and the kids’ favorite snacks. The place was clean, comfortable, and looked out to the water. The location is very convenient. Definitely recommend!

Perfect little getaway!

Beautiful view of lake Conroe, cute lake themed decor throughout, clean and with all the comforts of home! The host was great communicating and made a bunch of extra little touches to personalize the stay just for us! We were a close drive to several boat rentals and great restaurants. Would definitely recommend this spot for visiting Conroe/Montgomery! Also, the kids loved the bunk beds, loft and spiral staircase!

Awesome Place!!! EXCELLENT!!!

We had a great experience as a family! We are a family of 6 and it was very spacious, very clean and comfortable beds. The hostess was so attentive and very responsive. The location is very secure and quiet! Our summer vacation to Texas was a great one.. Thank You Kelly for being such a great hostess and making it even better.

What an amazing owner, we felt like royalty with all of the special touches, specialized snacks for the kids, and a New Year party pack!! Lovely views, kids loved the bunk room with their own bath, everything we needed without being overcrowded with decor. Super super clean!

Everything was just as posted but the personal touches that were left for me were icing on the cake. Snacks and a personal welcome message were there to greet me when I arrived. I can’t wait to book again.

Very Disappointing

First of all this property is not a "Waterfront" property. There is a parking lot in front of the property and there are other Condos in front that are actual "Waterfront". This needs to be removed from the listing as waterfront. This is also not an upscale property. They use the term "gated community" calling it upscale but it is far from being upscale. The property also has not been recently fully renovated and is not very clean. The entry into the unit was very untidy and had dead bugs all over the door to get in. As soon as I saw the entry I knew this was going to be a mistake. We ended up not staying at this property. It was very depressing to say the least. We had asked for a refund but the owners have refused. I hope that they use our money they kept to put back into this unit so that no one else is disappointed and deceived. This is basically a run down unit in an old gated country club neighborhood. The pictures look great online but the unit is nothing like it when you get there. I believe they are friendly and I feel other renters either are used to this class of rental and or are too nice to state the truth. This is the first negative review I have made on VRBO, being both a renter for years and an owner. I don't want anyone else to have their trip ruined and lose out on their hard earned money,

This condo was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we walked in we felt like we were home. The host did a great job of welcoming and communicating throughout the weekend. The neighborhood itself was gated so we felt very safe from the start. We were able to dock the boat at the local marina and leave our trailer there for the weekend as we parked our boat there on the water at the Condo for easy access. We will definitely be back soon.

Hi all! Thank you for your interest at Our Happy Place! I decided on the name as I love to sit on the balcony with my coffee and relax with the tranquil view of the water!

I am a high school counselor. I love my job and students! I specialize in College & Career and feel rewarded everyday in helping students prepare for their future.

I am married with two grown children and an amazing 5-year old granddaughter. My husband and I enjoy boating and cycling. We have ridden the MS150 twice and look forward to our 3rd year. I am also a clogger. No, we do not wear wooden shoes! We are a group of ladies who love to dance and perform at festivals and local venues.

We love living in April Sound and enjoy the country club life and amazing residents.

Why they chose this property

We initially purchased the condo in April Sound as our weekend get-a-way. We fell in love with the safety of the neighborhood, the activities, and boating on the lake and decided to buy our permanent home here. The home we purchased is on the golf course and I couldn't imagine giving up our condo with the water view so we decided to keep it and share our happy place with others.

What makes this property unique

April Sound is a comfortable, safe, and amazing Country Club community. To date, every guest has been amazing and left our home as if it was their own. The front gate is manned with security that check each guest in individually. The location is perfect if looking for a lake get-a-away. We also have a large population of our guests stay for weddings as many venues are very close. We are happy to assist in your plans to visit the area!
