35 day stay- Be Cautious
Upon arrival - No AC, no Internet, no pool waterfall. 89° in home. Window ACs were put in as a replacement in some of the rooms. Took AC company the whole 35 days to try and figure out issue. Day we departed AC still didn't work. Host knew we needed high speed. I expressed this before booking since husband works remotely. Husband couldn't get work done first day there. Took several days to replace router that Xfinity asked host to upgrade before we even got there. Several days of inconsistent Internet followed. Waterfall that my kids were so excited for was inoperable. Host prolonged the excuses. "Part will be here tomorrow" "Waiting for a call back." "Pool company owner is busy opening a breakfast restaurant." I even asked pool workers when they were cleaning pool if they knew anything about waterfall replacement. They were clueless. 35 days later, still no waterfall feature. The host offered us a Zelle credit which was generous. I never mentioned a credit and my family of five was very understanding of all of this. The host lied about a credit. "Will get it you next week" "Will get it to you Monday" "My assistant should have sent the credit." The lies...Nothing was sent. Don't say you're going to send something to us as a sorry for the many issues and then lie to me. This home is for sale. Host doesn't want to drop a dime into this house since he's selling. That's fine. But don't advertise it on VRBO and waste your guests time and money.
