This is a stunning 17th century chateau within an easy walk to the center of Aix. It has plenty of room and a beautiful pool. There are some things to be aware of, though. The host will want to meet you and share many, many details of the home, which can be helpful but is not the usual VRBO approach. Be sure to tell him IN ADVANCE exactly how you want the beds set up (couples vs singles) as this disrupted our visit for some of our party of 10. If it's hot (we were there during a heat wave), make sure he has the A/C running before you get there as it proved finicky at first but perfect thereafter. Be aware that the bathrooms, while plentiful, are sometimes split toilet from sink/shower. Finally, it is surrounded by condos and the people there don't like late noise, so keep it down. We found out the hard way. Overall, we really enjoyed it, but knowing these things in advance would have helped.

Our "Château" deserves to be appreciated and respected; that is why we like to explain all the details to our guests—you are the first to be surprised by this... It was hard to guess that, out of ten adults, only three were couples, while the other four singles required separate sleeping arrangements... As for the noise at night, our proximity to the town center means we must respect the rules regarding neighbors... By the way, did you enjoy the wedding?

This was a great place for our group of 9 adults.

We had nine adults with one senior citizen. The walk to town was every bit of 20 minutes. But what a lovely town it was. This home was built in the 17th century. Soexpect some unexpected things.The house itself had four bedrooms on the second floor and a fifth with a spare room on the third floor. Many rooms had toilets, separate from shower and sink. All the bedrooms were comfortable. Bedding and mattresses were great. The kitchen was serviceable. The pool was unheated, but the yard was so pleasant to sit in we hardly noticed. There was plenty of seating inside but much of it is well seasoned. The neighborhood was quiet. The neighborhood was safe and secure.The host and hostess were amazing. Very easy to communicate and quick to respond.

Nous avons tout d'abord passé une excellente semaine avec nos enfants (2 couples) et petits enfants (2ans,3ans,3 ans et 6 ans).la maison est trés bien située au calme, bien isolé de l'environnement et à 15mns à pied(adules) 20 mns (avec enfants) du centre ville d'Aix en Provence.elle est spacieuse, fonctionnelle et offre tous les "indispensables" (piscine, grand BBQ, jardin, salle de sport avec sauna...) nécessaires pour passer un bon séjour.les pièces au RDC (salon, SAM et 2nd salon avec véranda donnant sur un jardin ensoleillé) sont spacieuses et permettent de vivre en commun et malgré tout de pouvoir s'isoler.nous avons pu profiter de PDJ et diner sur la terrasse ombragée devant la maison (nous avons eu la chance, période de début juin, de ne pas avoir été envahis par les moustiques)la tempête ayant fait sauter quelques points électriques, nous n'avons pas pu profiter du chauffage de la piscine mais la chaleur a compensé et les enfants en ont tout de même bien profité.Les chambres à l'étage et la suite parentale, toutes équipées de WC et salle de bains donnent à chaque famille une totale indépendance.Nos hôtes ont été en amont, pendant et après la location très présents et réactifs pour répondre à toutes nos questions.un accueil sympathique qui nous a fait sentir trés rapidement "comme à la maison" si vous souhaitez, en famille nombreuse, visiter Aix en Provence et rester à l'écart de la foule et de son brouhaha, c'est une trés bonne adresse.

Die Zimmer waren sauber, die Bäder aber sehr klein. Duschen sind gut. Die Küchenausstattung war okay, aber etwas schmudelig; das Geschirr war nicht ganz sauber. Der Herd funktionierte nur teilweise.Der Wintergarten ist von der Atmosphäre her sehr schön, leider sind die beiden Holzbänke als einzige Sitzgelegenheiten sehr unbequem, so dass wir ihn eigentlich nie benutzt haben. in Ordnung. Die Lage ist gut, weil die Stadt fussläufig zu erreichen ist. Allerdings liegt die Villa an einer relativ lauten Strasse.

Séjour au delà de nos espérances !J'ai passé 10 jours incroyables avec mes 3 enfants et leurs conjoints.Tout était de grande qualité :l'accueil, la maison, le jardin, la piscine...Nous avions tout à disposition pour notre confort que ce soit dans les chambres dans la cuisine toute équipée le salon le patio.J'ai vraiment adoré cette magnifique maison de caractère son mobilier ancien les matériaux de qualité le sens du détail des propriétaires. Et la situation de la maison !Au calme absolu tout en étant à 5mn d'Aix-en-Provence en bus aux pieds de la propriété. Notre séjour restera inoubliable. Merci !
