I'm a bass fishermen and rented this adorable home to fish Lake Oneida. I was traveling solo and it was perfect for me but would also easily a partner should I have brought one. The home has an awesome view, great neighbors, great parking for my truck and boat is less that 10 minutes from the ramp. Will definitely try to rent it again on my next visit.
We rent the large home across the street each year for our family reunion and just needed a place for a few more people to sleep. This place is nothing fancy, but served its purpose. Nice yard and lake view, plenty of parking.
The host was very helpful, friendly. Beautiful one bedroom house on the water. Very clean and lose to stores and highway. Will be coming back next vacation.
Thank you

Thanks for the visit...
Had a wonderfully quiet and restful 4 nite stay. Owner,Tom, greeted us upon arrival and took a few minutes to show us around. Clean, neat older camp in a quiet neighborhood. I caught fish off the dock. Kayaks were available. View is awesome. Moon shone on the lake. Nice firepit.
We will return.
Loved waking up to the beautiful views of the lake. This cottage had everything you need and was easy to find in a nice neighborhood. The bathroom was spacious and the bidet toilet was easy to use. Having the washer and dryer was very convenient . I would have enjoyed using the bikes and outside chairs, but they weren't ready for summer use yet.
This is our 2nd summer. The only minor complaint is the grass needed to be mowed & we ran out of propane for the grill. Also, I think some utensils & kitchen items were missing, can opener, spoons… Otherwise, Tom is great along with location of the camp.
Clean rooms, inside nice, outside run down. Significant distance from anything to do or shop, IF YOU ARE NOT A LAKE PERSON. Very limited storage space, OK for short (2-3 day) stay. Was problematic for 2 week stay. No closets, 1 dresser.Kitchen, bath amenities very good.Owner very responsive to questions. Our stay was changed from July to September. Daily rate did not change.
We chose this place due to the dock and easy access to the lake. It was perfect for spending some time on the lake with a yard big enough for picnics and such.
It was great. The cabin was very nice, had whatever you needed. Thomas was very nice when we met him. It was quiet and relaxing. We would rent it again
Property is as described. Comfortable and great location for my fishing partner and me. What sets this apart is Tom the owner. Fantastic human being. My mom got sick and I had to run back 1.5 hours to visit her in the hospital. My boat was at the dock and the wind picked up. My fishing partner looked out the window and saw Tom the property owner who lives next door working to better secure my brand new bass boat at the dock so it wouldn’t get smashed into the dock or the shore. Tom then offered to drive my buddy’s truck to the boat ramp so that my buddy could drive the boat to the ramp and pull it out of the water as the lake got really stormy. Not sure how many property owners would go out of their way to help. Such a wonderful person.
Property was great for the two us….we brought a 19’ fishing boat that worked perfectly at the house dock! Wildlife was entertaining, walleye fishing was a bit slow, but boat drifting in the lake was very relaxing. Oneida lake is sparkling clean, looking forward to a return visit.
Owner went out of his way to get the dock in the water so I didn't have to trailer my boat all weekend. House is super clean and there is everything you need for a great stay. Highly recommend. I'll be back for sure.
The location couldn’t have been better. We had to shovel out the all the exits (in case we needed them) and lucky we had a shovel with us as there were none there. Other than that, the place was perfect for three old ice fishermen.
