Property was fantastic, secluded set in nature with a gorgeous nature trail to the river! Hosts were communicative and outstanding. House was clean and offered all amenities needed, overall a fantastic stay!
I wouldn’t hesitate to come back to this house. It is beautiful, comfortable, and convenient. The kitchen has all the necessary equipment for cooking family meals. There are plenty of places to sit outside and you have plenty of space for 6-8 people. You could rent this house and have a full vacation just on the property and the neighborhood access.

We had a fun and very comfortable stay at Timber Haven. Ashley and David are friendly and helpful, very good communication. We will definitely consider renting again for family get togethers!

This is a nice little cabin in the woods close to hiking and swimming. My boys enjoyed hiking down to the river, fishing and floating in provided rafts.

Thank you for the positive review Lisa. Hiking, fishing and floating are some of our favorite ways to spend time at the cabin too!
Everything at this lovely home was perfect and easy from the first day to the last. To say it was fully stocked and well organized is an understatement. Every detail has been considered and labeled for convenience. We loved being able to visit the stunning and non crowded lakes in the community and swam there most mornings. There were plenty of games provided for family game day/nights when it rained. And lots of choices and comfortable places to watch movies together too. The location is so convenient for grocery, scenic restaurants and outdoor activities. The home is large enough for all of us and the layout ensured privacy. Check out is easy as well with a minimum of hassle or tasks. Thanks again for a thoughtful, comfortable, and relaxing stay!

Thank you for such a kind review Jane! So glad you appreciated the small details and thought we've put into the cabin- we truly want guests to feel at home and comfortable during their stay. Love that you took advantage of the community lakes for morning swims!
Great experience and home from booking to check-out! Loved that there were 2 bedrooms on the main floor and 2 more tucked away upstairs! The gated community property was such a wonderful bonus feature if you want to enjoy the quiet lake and walks along the Broad River.

Love your pictures Robert! We agree, the community lake is quite and peaceful! Would love to have you back.
This cabin was perfect for my large family! My kids range in age from 1–15, and it was well equipped for everyone. The kitchen was perfectly stocked, and the bedrooms were comfortable and had everything we needed. The house was very clean, and the host was quick to respond to any questions. The trail to the river is a must—such a great bonus!

Hi Brooke! So glad you found the cabin to be well stocked for your needs and comfortable for your family! The trail to the river is one of our family's favorite spots to enjoy- Would love to have you back!
This house was a perfect size for our 9 adult guests and one dog. The inside of the house was very clean and well stocked. The hosts were clear with all communications and directions to make check in and check out easy. The trail down to the river is great but does require good footwear. In other words, no flip flops or you'll be taking a flop. The beach and river access across the street is really nice and is exactly 1 mile from the house if you choose to walk. A large grocery store (Ingles) is a 10 minute drive from the house with everything you would need or forgot. Lake Lure and Chimney Rock are about a 15 minute drive. I highly recommend renting a pontoon boat from Jenny at Lake Lure Boat Rentals. It was a great experience! Asheville is an hour drive and a great day trip. Everyone we met was friendly, welcoming and often shared stories of resilience and hope from the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. There are scares from the devastation but they are rebuilding and thriving with much strength. If you were hesitant about visiting this area, don't be. It is a beautiful destination that offers so much between the mountains, lakes, rivers and quaint historic towns.
