About the host
Hosted by Kathrin Guthmann
Our family, including our 3 small children, loves to travel. We used our last parental leave to spend a whole year exploring the other side of the earth that cannot be reached on a normal holiday. Originally, we come from Germany, but have been living in Norway for almost 15 years. Now we have bought our own typical Norwegian, old wooden holiday house. Based on our best travel experiences, we would like to share our home with guests from Norway and around the world. The house has a great, quiet location close to the Sea and a lot of charm. We will constantly develop it into a holiday idyll for us and our guests.
Why they chose this property
We use this property for private leisure as much as possible ourselfes, but like to rent out to nice people, when we can't use it. The property is a charming old house in a friendly neighborhood. The property is close to everything you may need, but still well protected and quiet. The small very private forest adjacent to the property provides a natural extension and great views. The sea is all around us and there is a strong maritime feeling in the air. We actually consider to move there completely at some point.
What makes this property unique
Large, charming old house on a beautiful property. Several small natural beaches to chose from. Many opportunities for sports and short leisure trips in the vicinity.
