The house is located in a small, developed settlement with 24 other properties in the immediate vicinity of the beach.
In addition to two bedrooms (1 double bed, 1 bunk bed), the open kitchen and the spacious shower room, there is the central living and dining room with a cozy seating area and a dining area for four people as well as a light-flooded, shadable winter garden with a spectacular view of Eckernförde Bay. This is followed by the large, partially covered south-facing terrace (approx. 35 sqm), which can be shaded with a large parasol if required.
The substance of the house was completely renovated in 2014/2018, the bathroom, the kitchen and most of the furniture were renewed.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a two-burner ceramic hob, fridge with separate *** freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine (filter and Tchibo capsule machine), microwave, kettle, etc.
In the living room there is a satellite TV, a micro system with CD player and a DVD player. In the house there is a WiFi with glass fiber speed. There are two parking spaces at the house.

The location of the house makes it an ideal starting point for long walks on the beach or for walks through the extensive rapeseed and grain fields that start directly behind the house.
A beach holiday with children is available on the "Langholz" beach, which is guarded in season and is 250 m away. There is also a snack or sundowner at the beach bistro "Hemel Haven".
An extensive network of trails is available for bike tours. Inexpensive bicycles, including e-bikes, can be rented in Eckernförde or Damp, also with a pick-up and delivery service.
The beach in front of the house is a popular meeting place for kiters and surfers.
Sailing schools can be found in Eckernförde and Damp. There is also a rental for motor boats in the Eckernförde harbor.
Within a radius of 25 km there are 3 beautiful golf courses and in the immediate vicinity of Gut Sophienhof there is a course for swing golf, a kind of golf for everyone and soccergolf.
Sea fishing trips start almost daily from the harbor in Eckernförde, as well as day or half-day boat trips to Kiel, Damp or the Schlei during the season. There is also the possibility to experience multi-hour or day trips on one of the traditional sailing ships based in Eckernförde.
If you want to try it yourself, there are various stunt kites in the house and the beach in front of the house is ideal for first flight attempts.
