Hi Elizabeth, Thank you for your feedback. I’m glad to hear you found the location great and the home clean. I did want to clarify a couple of points regarding your comments. We have never previously received a complaint about the solid-wood stairs leading into the main foyer being slippery or dangerous. We take safety concerns seriously, so we will certainly take a look at the stairs to make sure everything is as it should be. Regarding the deck, it is not a shared deck between the two rental units. The deck is part of the downstairs unit, and the property description for your unit does not advertise the deck as a shared amenity. The downstairs unit’s occupants have access to that space, which may explain the dog being outside and barking in the morning.
