Everything was perfect! Great location, quiet neighborhood, perfect distance to Boston and Salem for day trips with the kids. The place was clean and perfect for our family of 6 plus our dog. Excellent communication with our host too!

Short drive to the convention center. The house was clean and in a good neighborhood. Kitchen was nice and had everything we needed. The only thing we thought needed an upgrade was the living room couch. It wasn’t in great shape. Overall, the house was exactly like it was described and we would stay there again if we ever made our way back to Boston.

We had a really fantastic stay. We were in town for a concert. The location was perfect just outside of downtown,quiet neighborhood. Wally, our host, was very communicative and willing to try and help if we needed anything. Highly recommend the property.

Great stay

The house was clean and ready for us to stay. We found everything we needed, and if we didn’t the host replied really fast and helped us navigate it. We didn’t us patio since it was too hot outside, but it looks really nice. The living room is spacious and has nice AC.

Great location

We came for some Boston fun and a peek at Salem. This property was in an excellent location for our purposes. We drove most of the time and it was always just a short trip to either location or we used the subway a few times if we didn’t want traffic. The property owner was very communicative when I had questions and easy to talk to. The rooms were a decent size and the beds were super comfortable.Overall this house made our trip easier and more fun.

FANTASTIC Clean Comfortable & Convenient!

What a beautiful property! And was EXACTLY as described. Very clean, modern decor with everything we needed and then some. The Host is incredible & kept in contact throughout our stay to make sure we were comfortable and we were the entire time. This is a WONDERFUL location in a very safe area close to EVERYTHING! We went for a wedding and all relatives live within minutes. Easy short distance to all attractions like Fenway Park, Faniuel Hall, etc. I did not have time to take pics but what I saw in photos on VRBO were exact. Thanks again Wally for sharing this wonderful & VERY reasonably priced home with our family of 5 adults! Plenty of room for all so we didn’t feel crowded whatsoever. Family Friendly Stay close to Boston!

My husband and I stayed at Wally's place with our 3 kids and had a great experience. The duplex is located just 5 miles from the beach where my daughter andI enjoyed sunrise runs on Revere Beach. The place comes with an operational grill/smoker, outdoor table/seating, crib, and a highchair, so you’ll have everything you need during your stay. The WiFi is strong, so we were able to work and stream without any issues. The bedrooms all have plenty of privacy. Smallest bedroom does not have a window A/C unit. Upstairs A/C is controlled by fans and window units, it gets hot if they are not running constantly. The duplex is located on a quiet side street, but it’s possible to walk to the center of town with some restaurants in less than 15 minutes. Local grocery store is ~20min away.

Perfect location

This house was just perfect for my family of 5 as we came to visit Boston and Salem for a few days...here are our pros/cons Pros- house was very clean and had everything needed to cook simple meals for breakfast and dinner (theres a Walmart and Aldi about 15 mins away to grab groceries), this was a perfect location between both Boston and Salem and theres a T (train) station nearby (we took the Blue line in from the Beachmont station right to the Aquarium) and the owner is very quick to respond to messages. Check in and check out was quite simple. Cons- as stated in the description, there are laundry facilities onsite, but there is an ADDITIONAL charge to use them and there's a camera in the laundry area. I've stayed in many VRBO rentals and this is the first for me on both accounts. It felt a little invasive to have cameras on the inside of the home and have to pay to use the washer. We are a family of five and we only were given 4 washcloths (A very minor inconvenience and it wasn't a huge deal, as I always pack an extra set of towels anyway) Another thing to consider, while this house has a driveway, the surrounding residents park on the street making the street very narrow to drive through. We drive an F250 truck and we had to pull the mirrors in just to get off the street. If you drive a larger vehicle, take this into consideration.

Enough

The house was clean enough, even though had many cobwebs. Microwave was broken, held closed with a rubberband. Frying pan and toaster oven dirty. The very small bedroom TV only receives 2 channels. A/C set temp would change warmer after setting, changed remotely? Airflow to upstairs is lacking and bedrooms got warm overnight. We can not not give high marks as it was just enough and we had to do a few work arounds. Laundy is available for added fee, with a camera watching. Will not stay there again.

We ask all guests to let us know right away so we can address any issues in real time to make sure you enjoy your stay. Our housekeeper would have been available had you let us know. The microwave was broken by a previous guest but has since been repaired. We have two additional AC units in basement you could have used as well as the Central AC. The TV in small bedroom is meant for Chromecast and does not have cable, but the living room and other bedroom TVs both have cable. We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay, this is an Airbnb not a 5 star resort, but we will certainly use your feedback to help us improve for future guests. Thank you!
