A large group of friends came to go fishing in Racine, this place was perfect. We had a large yard to play yard games , fire pit and a great place to hang out, very close to the marina
My brothers and their families flew into town for our father’s funeral. It was a nice place with plenty of room for all of us to stay and be together, and it has a big backyard for the kids to play in.
We grew up in Racine , but came back over July 4th week for a family gathering. The house worked out great for us pllus ,our adult kids/ families. We were all coming from St Louis and the west coast to see our Racine relatives. Nina was very responsive, with great communication and everything we needed was taken care of right away. Even after our stay I gave her some feedback on improvement and she enacted my suggestions immediately and even sent photos. Overall we had a great trip to Racine. Thanks Nina!!
Overall, the property was close to the locations that we needed, the property manager was very responsive and responded quickly to the questions that we had. The property was clean and accurate as listed. The backyard was large and the kids enjoyed playing there. If I had to give a couple areas of improvement/feedback, I would say larger beds and more comfortable mattresses would have made a great stay even better. Overall, very satisfied!
This was a nice home that worked well for our family reunion. There were plenty of beds however none of the doors closed correctly from being warped. There was a fenced in patio however the backyard was not - so keep that in mind while bringing animals. The downstairs bathroom has extremely hot water and comes out of the cold faucet so just be careful with kids washing hands. There were plenty of towels and had basic toiletry items like shampoo and conditioner. Overall nice home to stay at.
Had a major snafu with VRBO whereby they sent me to a place that was already rented! So, had to quickly readjust and found this rental the next day. I was glad that anything was available for the next day. Because of this I needed to communicate some extra items to the owner in regard to VRBO and they helped me to work it out eventually which I greatly appreciated.
My family had a reunion and this was a great place for my family to land in between events. The house was clean with plenty of room to spread out. The only issue we had were the small beds. The beds were a bit short for my tall husband.
Stayed for 2 nights and had a delightful time. Nina was responsive and the house had plenty of amenities to make a larger gathering feel comfortable. Would reserve again!
We had a wonderful time here! The location was the main draw for us and the house had plenty of space for our entire family to gather. We had a few things come up during our stay (the keypad to lock the house ran out of batteries and the a/c failed) but the host was quick to respond and fix the issues right away. I will say that while we were happy to have enough bedrooms for all of us, the mattresses are old and well worn. I would highly suggest the host replace the mattresses for a better nights rest, especially for those guests who are there for an extended period of time.
I was in town for a wedding and this house provided an excellent place to stay with enough space for 3 generations of our family who joined us on the trip. We will consider renting again when we return.
We stayed at this perfect house for 3nights while competing in USA Triathlon Youth Nationals in Milwaukee. The house was perfect for minimal extra furniture, lots of space, large deck and good parking space.
Easy place to stay for a family.
Quiet with a large yard.
One of the bedrooms has two bunk beds (4 beds).
Nina was easy to communicate with and helpful.

We had an event in Milwaukee and we weren’t to keen on staying in Milwaukee, found this house and jumped on it. Nice house, nice location. Plenty of room for our trailer and 2 big trucks.
We booked the house 2 months early to find out 5 days before checking in that the first night was double booked. Host emailed and already changed the dates from Saturday to Monday. Obviously we would lose the payment if canceled and we had to find hotels for 4 families Friday night. After calling and emailing host, we finally got the credit for one night back. Then 2 days before, host emailed and said the family is willing to leave early so we can still come Friday night. Great we had to cancel hotels and pay for Friday night stay. On the day of, host emailed the rules/policy/check in process but addressed it to the wrong person! I had to call her to confirm if she messed up our reservation and ask for the code to get the key.
The house was big enough and cleaned. Nicey decorated. The doors are hard to open and very loud! The bed we slept on was hard but looked new. You can tell it quality of fixing the house wasn't the best. Good enough to profit from renters.
This property had a wonderful location and put us 5-8 minutes away from every place that we wanted to visit.
The yard was nice and large which gave us a great place to hang out, play games and sit around a fire. We also brought our 95 pound dog and the yard was fenced in around the 3 boarders so he had a great place to be with us to run and enjoy the outside.
The owner was easy to contact and helped when we had any questions.
Property was as pictured. Plenty of space to spread out but didn't really provide a place for more than 4 people to eat together. The second kitchen upstairs was a life saver for food storage and cooking meals for our large group. I would suggest that the owners spend the money to stock the upstairs kitchen with some basics. It was a bit of a chore to have to haul things up and down the steps the whole week because there's only one of everything. The washers were small and old but having 2 did the trick! The outside space was great. We brought a net and bags set and had that set up in the yard. We were unable to find a hose for water play for the kids. Location was good, right on the busy street but set far enough back to not be affected. Traffic was really loud from the master, even with the windows closed...light sleepers should take a different room. The big recliner in the master was awesome. We spent the whole week at North Racine Beach. It was a short drive from the house and was a really nice, clean beach. We found super close parking every single day of the week. Close to Walmart, kwik trip, and other convenient places. We had family dinner at Georgie Porgies on Friday night and lucked out with the entire top floor being open for our large party. Atmosphere was cool for the kids and the food was decent. Overall, a great place to stay!
We rented this property for our girl scout troop who was doing activities over a weekend in Milwaukee and Racine. The location of the property made it easy to get to ask of our activities. We had the perfect amount of sleeping space for all of the girls and leaders and the 2 kitchens made meal prep easy for our large group. The owner was very responsive and helpful with all of my extra special girl scout related questions and made our stay very simple and easy. Definitely recommend staying here!
My father, brothers, and I came into town for a Father's Day Fishing Trip and this home was perfect for our needs. Nina is a great host with really clear communications and was incredibly helpful. One of my brothers actually left his wedding ring and Nina was very quick to locate it and get it in the mail for us. Overall, we are very happy with our stay and plan to be back for next year's trip.
