We absolutely loved our stay at Moose Mountain! The owners are so nice and had excellent communication with us. It has a beautiful view with deer daily at the house. Our family would definitely come back for a stay!

Awesome cabin overlooking Pikes Peak

Bill was outstanding to work with. He was prompt with replies to our questions and took a genuine interest in making our stay wonderful by suggesting things to do with our grand kids. The house is beautiful and the views are spectacular. We had a great time and hope to return again!

Beautiful views

Wonderful hosts who answered all of our questions. The views from the wrap around deck were amazing and we had deer visit every morning/evening. The kids enjoyed the foosball table and the hot tub. Perfect get away that was centrally located for all of our day trips we made. No complaints at all!

Making Family Memories in Colorado

This mountain lodge was everything we dreamed. Majestic views surrounded our cabin to enjoy daily. Our family, us and our adult children had plenty of space and privacy with the 4 bedrooms and 4 baths.We spent time together in the upstairs gameroom in the evenings and relaxed.The kitchen was well appointed for eat in meals and we also made use of the grill.Our days were full with so much to see and experience in the area. Our hosts, Bill and Sherry were so gracious and helpful when we had questions. We highly recommend this luxury cabin for larger groups, families and friends to make wonderful memories.

Amazing Stay

We had a great time at the cabin. The views were incredible- we could see for miles, and the sunsets were beautiful. The cabin was well decorated (photos don't do it justice) and stocked with everything we might need for cooking, hot tubbing, and playing games. The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of room for our family of 10. Check-in and out were easy. The cabin is close to Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, Cripple Creek, although we found ourselves just wanting to hang out rather than sightseeing. There are more games, puzzles, and videos than a kid could play in months. The owner is very responsive (although we didn't need anything during our stay) The cabin is definitely in the top 10 of places we've stayed.

Perfect Getaway

We had 4 adults, and 2 children. This house was perfectly equipped for all our needs. The views were amazing! The hot tub was a nice relaxing end to the day. The kids had everything they could want between all the board games, air hockey and foosball. Would Highly recommend to anyone. The owners were very easy to communicate with. We will definitely return.

Wonderful getaway

We had a wonderful stay at Bill's beautiful place. We loved everything about the house and the property. There is nothing we can think about that should be improved. Bill and his wife, Sherry, are real professionals, and we could immediately tell that they know exactly what they are doing, and that they really care about their guests' satisfaction. A dream come.true!

This was such an amazung experience! Everything about the cabin was AMAZING! Very well appointed for anything you need, including a very helpful little notebook with tips and tricks and general info. We traveled with 4 adults and 2 teenage boys. The boys loved all of the games upstairs (so did the adults). We all loved the balconies with amazing views all the way around. This area of Colorado was beautiful and the locals we encountered were so nice and helpful! We could not have asked for a better getaway for our group, and we hope to be able to come back soon!

Beautiful Cabin

This beautiful cabin was perfect for our family getaway. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The deck had a beautiful view and was perfect for our morning coffee. We used the hot tub one evening and it was perfect for star gazing. Each bedroom had a bathroom and the beds were very comfortable. Check in was easy. Bill and Sherry checked on us and answered the 1 question we had immediately. If we are in the area in the future, we would definitely stay here.

I've been in the hospitality business most of my life, so vacation rentals are a natural for me. It's like having a little hotel or bed & breakfast. These rentals are going to help us through our retirement. And they are a lot of fun. We love making people happy, and we strive to do it so well that you'll want to come back, and bring your friends.

Why they chose this property

We used to bring our daughter and then our grandkids to the PIkes Peak region for summer camps and always felt it would be a great place to retire to. Compared to heading west out of Denver where we currently live, the drive here is so much easier. Teller County has a little bit milder winters than the rest of the state; in fact it's called the banana belt by the weather forecasters.

What makes this property unique

We first viewed this home in early summer at sunset, so the mountains still had plenty of snow, and that night was one of those bright orange and blue stunners. We couldn't write the contract fast enough.
We had a great time decorating this unique property with Colorado art, photos and artifacts from local artists. Many personal items, especially all the kitchen items makes it feel like home for us, and we have lots of good memories here.
