Located just minutes from Cripple Creek, Colorado and only a short distance from some of Colorado's top vacation destinations near Colorado Springs.
Sit out on the back porch with a nice cup of coffee and watch the birds, turkeys, deer and many other wildlife which frequent these woods. Not a mountaineer? Don't worry. The cabin is just off County Road 1, a scenic country road drive route taken by many.

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin is perfect and very spacious and comfortable. We loved this as a home base for our adventures in Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, Cripple Creek and Guffey. We loved having so many fans in the house and enjoyed the fire pit outside almost nightly.

The cabin was great. However, it was located right next to a road with constant loud traffic. This was not disclosed in the description.The traffic noise spoiled our expectation of what we thought would be an isolated, quiet location as was depicted in the photos of the location.

The perfect family getaway

This charming cabin was just right for our family of six, and the property was beautiful. Remote enough to feel like you’re getting away from the hustle, yet still an easy drive to enjoy all Colorado Springs has to offer. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

This is a beautiful cabin and very well appointed. Mattresses, bedding, appliances, furniture, we’re all very nice. Would highly recommend for a couples getaway or family retreat!

Absolutely beautiful

This cabin is absolutely beautiful. My friends and family were in the area to see the ice sculptures and ice castle in Cripple Creek. The location was perfect; just a short lovely drive to the town. The cabin was very clean and welcoming. I would highly recommend and hope to stay again in the future.

Holiday getaway

My husband and I finally took a vacation after 5 years. We normally go to the beach but decided to try something totally different. And we absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was beautiful and cozy. We are still wishing we were there! Everything was so nice and clean in the cabin. We are looking forward to staying again next year!

Hide-away in the Woods

This cabin is spectacular!!! By far the best experience we have ever had with a VRBO! This cabin is so well laid out and just a warm and cozy place to hang out. We loved the fire pit and even found a place to hang a hammock to sit and listen to the birds. We lacked for nothing. This cabin has it all! Loved it!!

Cabin as described

The cabin had plenty of room for the 6 of us. The kids toys were a bonus for our little ones, as well as the porch and stairs having gates. The view was great. Although it is close to a highway, it still felt secluded with the trees. Mueller state park was our favorite, and we wish we would have went there sooner.

Beautiful views

Dream house I would love to own. Very peaceful and quiet. Tall balcony out back was amazing that wasn’t shown in pictures. Looked exactly like pictures. We stayed mid July and got very lucky weather barely got up to 80. We rode cog train up pikes peak , rode train in cripple creek, visited casino s, went to go karts in Colorado Springs, checked out arcades and garden of gods. It was a great family trip.

Awesome cabin

My family and I stayed 4 nights here and it was great! If you have AT&T, be sure to have door code/wifi info printed out or loaded on your phone before arriving. We had to drive toward the town a ways in order to get enough reception to load the vrbo app for this info. The property was very quiet and private, some road noise. Plenty of firewood and fire starters provided. Closest grocery store is only about 12 minutes away. Would love to stay again one day!

Heart of the Mountains

Fantastic! The house is just as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. Extremely clean, comfortable, fun. Wifi was a must as you are truly out in wilderness. Our teenagers had a great time. So much to do nearby. We went Whitewater rafting, Jeep off-roading, Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Royal Gorge Bridge, Cave of the Winds and Hot Springs. Thanks to our hosts!

The house

The house is very nice...everything inside the house literally is nice i could not emphasize it more. If i have the chance to go back again i would. Airport is like 2 and half hours from this place. Groceries store is like 4 miles. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends!

My name is Todd Seale and my wife's name is Gina. We have lived in Colorado since 2013, moved up from Texas. I worked in the oil field until I lost my job at the beginning of covid but we bought the cabin in hopes of really providing a great place for our guests to get away and relax. Having a vacation rental can be expensive but we decided it was worth it to go the extra mile for our guests.. We are so thankful to have the greatest guests in the world who come and stay at the cabin.
When we purchased the cabin we lived in Grand Junction, about a 5 hour drive away. We made many trips to the cabin but then decided to move to Colorado Springs where I got a job working at the new Amazon facility and my wife takes care of the cabin. We plan on purchasing another property soon because we just love providing a place for folks to go to get away from it all so we hope if you decide to stay at our cabin you have the most amazing time and enjoy beautiful Colorado.

We landed this gem in the beginning of covid times. We wanted to give our guests the absolute best possible experience we could and strive to add to the cabin constantly by offering more amenities, upgrading the bedding and providing the absolute best service we can so you can just enjoy your time away from home. We are set on being available and close by so if you need anything during your stay, we can come assist. The property is located driving distance to many of the nearby attractions and Colorado has an unending supply of activities for anyone and everyone to enjoy no matter which season is upon us.

What makes this property unique

Our greatest desire for the cabin is that we provide an express 5 star getaway experience for our guests. We decided to provide even more essentials so you wouldn't have to bring anything but clothes, food and drinks. We do everything we can to make your getaway as relaxing and fun as possible without having to go purchase anything extra.
