Welcome to Cape Calm, where all you need to bring is your bathing suit and beach towel!
Your vacation begins within walking distance to the beach, ferry and community pool in a quiet neighborhood. Our home is also conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants and local shopping. Come and enjoy the fully renovated, quiet and serene 3 bedroom 1.5 bath home that sleeps 6 with stainless steel appliances, microwave, dishwasher and convection oven and washer and dryer on site. Firepit and screened rear patio.
Imagine getting up in the morning and grabbing a meal in the breakfast nook or coffee in the living room as you watch the news for the day on the 55 inch tv. After your day of activities, retreat to the private fenced in yard with firepit, watching the sunset with drinks on the covered and screened patio with burgers on the grill. Top it all off with by relaxing in our soaker tub which includes complimentary bath salts. Let Cape Calm be a part of your summer memories.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was as advertised and we had a great time. The house is conveniently located with easy access to all the attractions in the area, additionally it is close to a grocery and pharmacy, for any forgotten items as well. Would recommend to friends and family

Great Stay at Cape Calm

This house exceeded our expectations. The owner thought of every detail. The house was extremely clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable to stay in. We loved the backyard with the fire pit, pergola, and covered porch. The house is not far from the Delaware Bay beaches. You could walk there easily. Perfect location for us. We would highly recommend this house for an amazing stay in Cape May!

Great getaway

We had a great time in Cape May. The neighborhood is very quiet - a plus! The house is very very close to everything - just a 15 min ride to downtown. The house is perfect for 4-5 people. We had everything we needed including games. The house was also very clean and Merry had snacks waiting for us and lots of coffee. Merry is very responsive. We would definitely stay again.

Friends getaway

We had the most wonderful time at this cute little beach home! The home was clean, comfortable, and had quite a welcoming charm to it! However, I do wish there was a little journal that guests of the home could fill out stating where they were visiting from and what their favorite activity was on their trip. I think it would be nice to see where others are visiting from and possibly get more recommendations on activities based on favorites from their trip! I can confidently say we would come back to stay in a heartbeat!

Our go-to beach house for the second year

Two young families with little kids had an amazing time at Cape Calm in late July! The location was stunning, close to Cape May's beaches, attractions, farms, and wineries, while still being peaceful and private. The cozy interior design made us feel right at home. Communication with the host was great – they quickly fixed an issue with the AC. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the spacious living area was perfect for relaxing with loved ones. The nearby nursery was handy, though there was a creaky bed in the next room. Despite that small problem, we had a fantastic experience. We can't wait to come back to this beautiful beach house for another unforgettable trip!

Annual Family Summer vacation

This home exceeded my family’s expectations. The neighborhood was clean and quiet. The location was very convenient as we were about 20 mins from Wildwood and 20 mins to the Cape May County zoo which pleased my 4 year old son. The amenities of the home were beyond generous and thoughtful. The owner placed great care in the decor and basic supplies. All the appliances were up to date and spotless. My son now affectionately calls the home “Our Beach House”. My mom who celebrated her birthday 7/10 was pleased with the choice of the home to celebrate a fun weekend. I can highly recommend this home if you have a small family that just needed a quiet weekend away from the city. We hope to have a chance to visit “Our Beach House” again soon.

Lots of little thoughtful extras

This was a lovely recently renovated home. Decor was great, with lots of little extras to make the stay easy and fun. Charging cables next to the bed, things for a fire pit, plenty of things in the kitchen to cook our meals. Would totally stay here again!

This home exceeded our expectations! It was clean and recently updated, decorated beautifully! Merrie included all of the extras you need to ensure the perfect stay in Cape May. We enjoyed walking to the bay each morning. We prefer to goto the beach at Cape May Point which was only a short 10 minute drive. This home is in the perfect proximity to enjoy all cape may has to offer. We look forward to staying here again.

Home was even better than the property description

We found here everything needed for the ocean vacation. every detail has been thought of - from wi-fi passwords to fresh flowers on the table, the beach tags, watermelon, pack of water and soda were waiting for us. The house is located in the North Cape May on the very quite street. It took ~3 minutes driving o the nearest beach and Ferry terminal and ~ 13 minutes to the Cape May beach with all the attractions. Communication with Merrie was easy and constructive - she always answered our questions and offered her help every time. We found really detailed guide left by the host on the table - there was a history f the region and places to visit as well with restaurants/useful stores and other. Check-in/check out went smoothly. The only thing I regret - that we took our chairs/umbrellas/beach cart and a lot of other stuff with us - we could safely drive here with one luggage with clothes.

GREAT house! Clean, updated, fresh and welcoming. The host Merrie was in touch throughout our trip and answered any questions we had. The Kitchen was fully equipped with all appliances as well as a basket with s’mores! Thanks Merrie!!! The beach chairs, cart and umbrella were a perfect addition so we didn’t have to worry about bringing our own. The backyard was AMAZING!!! Hoping to stay again next year!

We love the beach and want others to enjoy our house as well. Being in a quiet neighborhood, we feel we have the advantage of enjoying the local restaurants, beach and ferry and coming home to a beautiful yard with a firepit and comfortable, relaxing environment.

What makes this property unique

What makes our property unique is that we have personally renovated every inch of our property with care and love. What makes our property stand out from the rest is we are uniquely situated, we're steps to the community pool, walking distance to the beach, ferry, grocery store and restaurants. We have a fenced yard which faces west where you can sit in the covered screened porch and enjoy portions of the sunset and build a fire in the dusk of the evening.
