**Considering our property to another rental, we offer: 1 Beach cart (to take items to beach with fat tires), 1 Coolbrella beach umbrella, 8 beach chairs, 1 bocce ball set, 3 pool umbrellas, 8 lounge chairs, 1 cornhole, Gas grill and Gas firepit with 5 chairs. HUGE upgrade compared to other properties that don't offer and require you to pay for these amenities!**

The Oyster features ONE LEVEL (great for little ones or older loved ones!) easy living with open kitchen + living room, separate wings for easy relaxation, totaling 5 bedrooms (4 Kings + 4 Twins = Sleeping 12), 4 bathrooms. Wonderful stay and looking forward to next year!

The house was just as described and pictured. Sometimes a beach house is just a nice place to stay at the beach, but in this case this is a home that is warm and relaxing with wonderful amenities and decor. It was well stocked with all the needed dishes and other supplies including pool towels. Our family loved being at the house together as much as on the beach. We are all looking forward to our next trip to the Oyster.

Amazing Vacation Home

I say vacation home instead of vacation rental because that is what it truly felt like. Every comfort and amenity were at our fingertips. The Oyster was spacious and inviting. There was plenty to do but, most importantly for my crew, everyone was able to just relax and enjoy the time off. The beach was close by but the heated pool and hot tub helped knock of the chill off the early spring. I can’t say enough positive things about the place or the interactions with the owner. We can’t wait to book our stay for next year! Truly a family favorite!

St Simons at its Best !

My wife and I have taken our kids and grandkids to St Simons for the last 8 years. This property was hands down our favorite. The host was extremely prompt responding to questions even on Easter morning. Split bedroom design was perfect. The kids took one side of the house and we took the other. So nice not to hear the 4 yo at 6 am every morning. The house was an amazing remodel with all high end features. The salt water pool and “hot pool” were exceptional. The entire outdoor space was perfect. Ideal location for beach and restaurants.

Great house

We really enjoyed our stay at The Oyster! The backyard is fully equipped to have fun. Our weather wasn't so great over the holidays but the heated pool helped! It was really warm. The kitchen is fully equipped and having multiple bedrooms and bathrooms spread out was perfect. We hope to stay in the summer months to enjoy the outside more.

Great Beach House

The walk to the beach was magical. The house came with great beach equipment. House was very modern and clean. The bunks were a bit of a challenge due to the height of our teens but would be great for young kids. Pool was wonderful and we loved the back yard.

Truly Excellent Stay

Here on St Simon for a short weekend and the Oyster was a perfect home base for everyone of all ages. Really appreciated everything about our stay and the listing is spot on. The house is perfectly appointed for familys. In addition, Jordan checked in on us via text during our stay and was responsive to any questions. Thank you for a great stay.

Fall Break 2023

As always we had an amazing trip to St. Simons. This house was the perfect fit for our two families and was simply lovely. We appreciated the pool and outdoor activities as well as easy and close proximity and access to the beach.

Kids loved the pool

House was great for the family, which included 5 kids under 10. Although the beach was only a short walk away, we spent 90% of our time by the pool. Jordan was always available by phone/text to answer any questions. Would definitely recommend this property.

Fantastic family stay

We had an incredible time at the Oyster House. Everything was exactly as pictured/described. They have thought of every detail and the layout and amenities are perfect for a fun filled weekend with family and friends. Jordan, the house manager, went above and beyond and was super helpful and accommodating from booking to check-out and beyond. We will be back!

Family Spring Break Trip

The Oyster is a gem of a rental property in the best part of St Simons for family, East Beach. Perfectly set up for 2 or 3 families. We were a group of 8 with 4 adults and 4 kids between 9 and 14. Between the heated pool, hot tub and ping pong table the kids kept themselves busy and off phones…. Love St Simons and will be back!

Absolutely perfect vacation house

We just got home from spending a week at the Oyster and we all agreed that this was one of our favorite vacations ever. We had three families which included three small children under the age of 5. The house itself exceeded my (already high) expectations. The location is great, the interior design was stunning, and there were so many wonderful amenities to enjoy. We loved our experience here and will definitely be returning on our next trip to SSI!

The Oyster

This house was awesome! The pictures and the description were very accurate and the house appeared to be new or newly remodeled and was very clean and well equipped and well maintained. My wife and I plus 2 adult children and their spouses and 3 young grandchildren stayed in the house and everyone enjoyed it. St Simons Island is now a favorite beach town for our family.

Excellent home with outdoor fun!

The Oyster more than met our expectations and needs. Excellently designed home…the location, cleanliness, amenities and layout were ideal. The screened porch and fire pit were huge hits, along with the heated pool and hot tub. Plenty of beach accessories with a cart to haul them in made the walk to the beach easier. While there were delays in communication on the front side of checkin, afterwards they were quick to respond. Would definitely stay here again!

Vacation with Family

There were 12 of us, 6 adults and 6 kids (3-10). We had a wonderful time at the Oyster! The kids loved the backyard with the pool, ping-pong, corn hole and room to play. The short walk to the beach through the neighborhood was easy access. The kitchen is very well-equipped, and the openess of the layout allowed us to enjoy being together. The only negative was the property manager did not respond to several texts I sent, however, the realty did and answered my questions quickly. Great place to stay!!
