A very nice and comfortable home that’s also very convenient to walk to most of the places we enjoy!Just a few minutes away from 2 of our favorite restaurants- Crabdaddy’s and Fiddler’s! And if you enjoy walking, the beach is only about a 12 minute walk away. Perfect location! Feels like home away from home!!

This house is very comfortable and well done. Lovely porches and outdoor pool area is spacious and surprisingly private. I would rent this lovely house again for my family.

This was our family’s 4th year vacationing at Blue Island Cottage. This property is a perfect fit for us! Roomy; beautifully furnished; screened and covered porches; and a huge pool! The hosts are very gracious and always responsive to their guest’s needs!

We had a great time celebrating a milestone birthday! We had guests stop by to visit and relay birthday wishes only to be photographed and harassed by the neighbors. Our friends were not turning around in their driveway but didn’t even stay because of the rudeness of the neighbors. There is a sign that says don’t use neighbors driveway to turn around and therefore you have to back out onto a very busy Demere Drive. That was a minor problem but we ended up walking most places. Kitchen was well thought out and I personally LOVED the labels on things. Very helpful. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.

Absolutely stunning home, accurately represented on the website. Both indoor and outdoor areas were clean and well maintained. The kitchen was more than sufficiently stocked with everything we needed and beyond - and the quality of what was provided was exceptional. The pool and hot tub provided optimal relaxation- the chairs and umbrellas were perfect for our group; pleasantly surprised at the number of beach towels available. We spent a lot of time on the enclosed porch - comfortable seating with great amenities. The beds were extremely comfortable; all bathrooms were well stocked with soft, absorbent towels. Rick and Laura maintained open lines of communication and responded quickly to our questions. Overall, our experience with this property was fabulous and we highly recommend it to any family or group. In fact, we will be singing the praises of this home and owners to our friends and family!

Everything was exactly as portrayed in the listing. We had one minor issue with a toilet, which was immediately addressed and fixed. Everyone in our group loved the home. Excellent location and beautifully decorated! We didn’t cook but the kitchen was well equipped. The home was very clean. Would definitely stay here again if visiting SSI with a large group!

Great location and set up. House was very clean and organized. Plenty space to relax in groups around the house from living room area to screened in porch to around the pool. Host was awesome with communication prior to visit as well as during.

Great house and location!

The house was wonderful! Great location to restaurants and beach! Parking was a little tight for 4 vehicles but other than that, a great stay!
