I really enjoyed staying at the Hart Mountain Log House. Excellent property and everything about it worked very well. I enjoyed it so much I’m coming back from the East Coast to stay there again in June.
We went to Plush for sunstones. We loved staying in this house. It was very comfortable when the weather wasn’t cooperating for outdoor activities. I would stay here again and highly recommend!!
Great place to stay. Roomy, well kept, and well stocked. This place made a wonderful home base for a family of rockhounds. Watch out for the cat, it's very sweet but may try to stow away with you. The horse never tried to jump in the car, but was very friendly.
This is our second time staying at this property and we hope to come back a third time. The views are amazing, the house is spacious but has a cozy feel. It is clean, well stocked and well maintained. Dusty the cat is an added bonus!
Easy to find, modern with washer/dryer and jetted bath tub. We loved sitting on the large covered deck just looking out at the beautiful scenery. Quiet and peaceful. A gem in the middle of the Oregon Outback
I have stayed at either the Log House or the Cabin here on the property over the last 3 1/2 years. The stay is always amazing. Everything you need for your stay is there. The beauty of Hart Mountain, the Warner Valley with water in the lakes is fantastic. Thank you as always for a great getaway to our favorite place.
Perfect cabin with the most beautiful scenery. Clean, cozy, and peaceful. The cows wondered through the yard, the cat was very friendly, and the caretakers were great! There is so much exploring to do in the area we will definitely be staying again.
it was absolutely fantastic. The property was perfect with beautiful views and peaceful setting. We love the cat and horse on the property and got visited by a neighbor dog. Close to the scenes and enjoyed all the wildlife we saw. The Fremont national Forest close by was also amazing. We loved our stay.
We planned to do astrophotography, but clouds and thunder storms got in the way. We did get a nice lightning show on Tuesday evening, though. Did some bird watching and just relaxing.
The accodations were superb and the views were stunning. Very comfortable/plush unique cabin, with all the amenities and more. We pickedthis home as a base for hunting sunstoes never expecting such anupgraded home in the middle of oregonthis home as ab
Sure Plush is a drive, but this place is worth it: roomy, three bedrooms, expansive grounds, quality in and out. We came here on a sunstone mining trip, and the location was perfect. One thing to note: bring your food! Plush does not have a grocery store. The nearest one is in Lakeview, about 25 miles away.
Wow. The Hart Mountain Cabin was everything we hoped for...and more! Breathtaking vistas, waking to birds serenading us every morning, proximity to Hart Mountain Antelope Reserve, Warner Wetlands, and sunstone mining - absolutely perfect getaway! The house was totally clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. The caretakers are super friendly and responsive - we felt lucky to interact with them and learn even more about the culture of Lake County. Step back to a time of friendly folks who wave at every passing car... And soak up the restorative solitude in the natural riches around Plush!
