About this property

The Bears Den Suite is just a walk away from the banks of the world famous Kenai River. Enjoy this cozy bear themed studio room that sleeps up to 8 comfortably. Both bedrooms are on the upper level with a murphy bed on the main level. It has a full spacious bathroom and a kitchenette.

During your stay, enjoy the peaceful surroundings while fishing from our two fishing platforms, with over 85 feet of shared fishing space, or wading in the river. You can launch your boat directly from the property for private river access. A common area just outside the room provides space to enjoy an afternoon BBQ, have a camp fire, play horse shoes or just relax while enjoying the river views after your full day of exploring.

We also have waders and fishing poles available for rent upon request!

Great stay off the river

We had a great stay at this location and lucky to have the entire property to ourselves for a few days. The property was wonderful with great outdoor sitting area and fishing the river right out back was amazing. I have no complaints about the cabin, it was nice and cool on hot days, it appears newly constructed so everything is nice and clean, no bugs, no weird smells like other rentals I have experienced. The furniture and decorations were thought through and very comfortable. Along with the beds upstairs, there is also a murphy bed in the living room. All mattresses were very comfortable, lots of pillows for everyone and comfortable bedding. Unit has a spacious bathroom with a large shower, there is also a washing machine and we air dried out clothes outside in the sun. I would highly recommend any unit on this property

Beautiful place!! Right on the Kenai river. The home was nicely decorated!

We stayed for 2 nights, it is located in the main first large building not at the specific address. Very nicely located tucked away about 12 minutes from the soldotna town. Well supplied with water and coffee. Very well decorated and super clean, large smart TV and plenty of space for us. Would of loved to fish but the stores were out of weights, so come prepared if you plan to fish. You can walk right to the dock and catch plenty of fish. Super cool. We got to see a moose family as well so perfect place to enjoy wildlife. Highly recommend this new place!! A few things to bring: bar soap, fishing gear, ice.

Wonderful stay in Funny River

Super cute and comfy stay. Staff had water bottles and snacks as well as paper products, nice linen and comfortable beds. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Might suggest a fan or two for the sleeping areas. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality.
