Welcome to one of the sunniest regions of France and where the air quality is incomparable!
Nestled between the Ecrins and the Queyras, this warm and peaceful chalet invites you to a cocooning stay in an idyllic setting.
Just renovated and very well equipped "like at home", it is suitable for both solo holidaymakers and large families.
The quiet and wooded garden offering a breathtaking view of the mountains is a perfect environment for an aperitif with friends, a family barbecue or reading a good novel. It is even rumoured that the shade of the poplars would be an ideal spot for a little nap...
Chalet tenants also have access to the heated outdoor condominium pool and paddling pool (accessible in July and August only) as well as a tennis court.
Located in the valley surrounded by mountains, you are ideally placed because you are close to everything:
- about 25 minutes from the ski resorts of Vars and Risoul, which between them offer a 180 km ski area. Those who don't like to go up to the resort by car are not forgotten: from Guillestre (located 5 minutes away by car), free shuttles will then take you to the resorts. Other resorts are easily accessible.
- about 35 minutes from Serre-Chevallier
- 25 minutes from the lake of Serre-Ponçon and Briançon
- immediate proximity to the Durance for white water activities
- immediate proximity to hiking and cycling trails
- only a few km for shopping in supermarkets or producers of local products
For thrill seekers, whether it's snow sports, via ferrata, canoeing or rafting on the Durance, paragliding or even a glider discovery flight, there is no shortage of activities.
The others are not to be outdone with water activities on the lake of Serre-Ponçon, endless possibilities for hiking or cycling or why not trout fishing on the banks of the Durance.
Children will particularly appreciate the Eygliers lake accessible from the chalet on foot or by bike, the meeting place of marmots and the patoux dogs herders.
For lovers of cultural visits, the snail architecture of the village of St Crépin and its history, the proximity of the stronghold of Mont-Dauphin classified as an UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Vauban city of Briançon and the Huguenots trail are some examples that will not leave you indifferent.
At nightfall, the low light pollution is conducive to stargazing and will delight young and old alike. The most demanding can even take advantage of the observatory of St Véran for a night of discovery of the sky, a village located 40 minutes away and said to be the highest in Europe.
In short, for all these and others, the region will enchant those looking for a dynamic holiday as well as those who just aspire to recharge their batteries by enjoying a cocooning chalet in a natural setting as magnificent as it is peaceful.
