Our second year at this property for a company retreat, and it remains a fan favorite! There were a couple of hiccups with electricity and plumbing, but the owners were proactive in communicating it to us, and the impact to our stay was minimal. We enjoy the property, separate cabins, massive outdoor and indoor space. This location is perfect for corporate or family events, close to several trails, and immaculately clean. We'll be back!
This was such a great property to accommodate our family get together. It was stocked well with games and had a cute little space for the kids to play in.
The property was awesome for our very large group. There are a few things that need some attention from the owners but nothing that would deter us from staying here again. We had the max people allowed and we fit comfortably in all the cabins. We loved the kids play areas inside and out, the large outdoor fire pit, the long front porch on the Gathering Cabin to relax, the places very close to the property to hike and the large grill to cook on, were some of our favorite things. We plan on coming back and staying next year with our group.
We stayed during at this property and the location, cleanliness, ambience inside every cabin/house was really good. The property is maintained well and very safe for families and kids and we hope we can come again next year.
Everything was fantastic . Mittens the cat was the best emotional therapy I could ever hoped for my grand daughter. I look forward to booking for next year
We had a group of chefs that came from 5 states to cook and network together. The big firepit and large new griddle were very helpful. Location was close to many attractions in the Hocking Hills. Highly recommend!

Thank you very much for choosing Rock House Cabins. Being a very small family owned business, it is greatly appreciated! Hope to have you back!
The cabins were very clean. The property was laid out great so you could either be together or not. Beds were comfortable. Bring towels for hot tub. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing such a great property.
Friend group stayed there for a weekend away from the bustling city. Nice land and enough space for everyone to hang out together or in their own groups if they chose.
Would recommend for anyone with large groups needing a weekend away in the quiet woods.
The property was a great stay for our large family to come together. The layout allowed each family to retreat to their own home each evening, but gather together for meals and games at the main house! The outdoor seating, hot tub, firepit was enjoyed by all. The full stocked and clean property was excellent! The condition, decor and amenities couldn't be better. Highly recommend.
This property checks all the boxes! Clean, spacious, hot tub, fire pit, plenty of rooms/beds for large gatherings, all the amenities, and located in the heart of it all. We especially loved the extra attention we all received from Mittens (the Cabin Cat)! He made sure all our needs were met with lots of affection, and he made the best trail guide around the property! We'll be back!
Wanted a weekend get away with some guys and was very happy. Loved the idea of separate cabins to separate IF you wanted to get away. Mittens the outside cat was a pleasant surprise when we got there and was a quick celebrity by the end of the weekend. We will be back.
Fantastic property for multiple families with kids!
We had a great stay and experience at the Rock House cabins! We had 5 families with lots of littles under 10 and was the perfect spot for us to ring in the New Year. Clean property in all cabins and plenty of space for each family to spread out and explore outside. Kids absolutely loved the tree house area upstairs in main cabin to play and could not get enough of the slide! We only had one small issue with no warm water the first night and the owner was fantastic and came right over to quickly fix for us and was fine rest of the weekend. Highly recommend!
Property was as described on line and was perfect for our family of 15. Was just perfect indoor and out. Had everything g we needed and lots of things close by to do. We plan to make this an annual thing for our family. Not sure water is changed regularly in hot tub as it said 95 days past due for a change but it was clean. Only suggestion would be in the main cabin if the bathroom to have some handy cap grab bars in the main bathroom and shower for elderly people. Beyond that it is a great place. Highly recommended for large family gatherings. It was perfect for us as each of our adult children and their spouses could have their own private cabin and join us daily for meals at the gathering cabin.
