Our home is just 7 blocks from the water, less than a mile from downtown, 1.5 miles to Rockport Beach and close to multiple boat ramps! A short drive (or bike ride) will get you to downtown and local eateries (less than a mile). Rockport pier is right around the block for easy access fishing!
Byer's Bayhouse puts you in a wonderful atmosphere. Whether you're in town to visit the beach, fishing off your boat, or shopping through downtown, we have provided as much as possible to make sure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. The kitchen comes with cooking utensils and a small charcoal grill out back!
We have secure boat parking for light weight boats on the side of the house during dry conditions. Please keep your boat on the drive way if conditions are wet, soggy, or muddy. The driveway can park 2 vehicles or a vehicle with a boat.

Quiet Hours: 10pm-6am out of respect for our awesome neighbors.
Trash/Recycling will need to be taken to the street if your stay falls on trash pick up (Trash pick up is on Wednesdays).
Used charcoal must be disposed of in small aluminum can, once cold please put it in the city trash can on the side of the house.
No parties or unregistered guests allowed.
No animals. Unauthorized animals will be charged a $300 fee. Any damages caused by animals will be charged to the guest.
We provide a few beach towels if needed, please return and do not take bath or hand towels out of our home.
No smoking on property. Smoking or left over cigarette buts will result in extra fines and cleaning fees.
In order to keep our furniture in great shape for future guests, please do not eat messy items on any furniture or bedding.
Upon checkout, do not make the beds. Stripping the sheets is preferred. Please load all dirty dishes and start the dishwasher. Please remember to empty the fridge of food items and take out the trash.
Please make sure to turn off the lights, a/c, and any electronics when you leave the house. Don't forget to close the windows and lock the doors.
Lightweight boats may park on the side of the house behind the gates for extra security, but PLEASE do NOT drive on the grass if conditions are wet, soggy, or muddy. Street parking is allowed for an additional vehicle.
