We strongly dispute the claims made in this review, as they are completely inconsistent with the guest’s experience and communication throughout their stay. At no point during the reservation did the guest express any concerns about mice, cleanliness, or dissatisfaction with the property. In fact, the guest and their family completed their entire stay and even requested a late checkout. It was only after returning home that the guest raised these allegations and demanded a substantial refund for an already discounted midweek stay. Following the complaint, our cleaning team thoroughly inspected the property and found no evidence of mouse droppings or rodent activity. Our home is also professionally serviced by Ehrlich Pest Control, and we take cleanliness, sanitation, and guest comfort extremely seriously. We have proudly hosted families for over five years, and this is the first time we have encountered a complaint of this nature. We are deeply disappointed that a guest would make such serious allegations only after completing their entire stay, without bringing any concerns to our attention while at the property or providing evidence to substantiate the claims. Unfortunately, VRBO declined to remove the review despite the lack of supporting evidence. While we respect every guest’s right to share their experience, we also believe reviews should be truthful, fair, and based on verifiable facts. It is particularly disappointing when an otherwise uneventful stay is followed by serious, unsubstantiated allegations and a demand for a substantial refund. We stand firmly behind the cleanliness, quality, and care of our property and remain committed to providing an exceptional experience for every guest.
