Great place to stay with fantastic views of the city. The home was very comfortable and close to hospitals, which was extremely convenient for us. The host Cody is very kind and helpful by answering any questions we had. He went above and beyond with our booking when some scheduling conflicts came up suddenly. If we’re in Rapid City again, this place would be our first choice!

The house was in great condition. The location is convenient to what ever one would want. Certainly would stay here again if in Rapid City vicinity. We especially enjoyed the reclining sofa in the living room.

The Overlook was a fantastic place to stay for our South Dakota 'Road Trip'. The home provided all the space we needed for the 6 of us, was clean and well-stocked, and centrally located to all the sights we wanted to see. The host was quick to respond to any questions, etc. We would stay at The Overlook again and highly recommend it.

We very much enjoyed the comfort, location and views here! The kitchen was well equipped and everything was clean! We sat on n the balcony each night overlooking the lights! House is perfect location for all you want to do in the Black Hills. Kitchen is well stocked, beds are comfortable. Lots seating area for meals. Down stairs is great for grown kids or second family, I would suggest owner puts in coffee bar and small refrigerator in the lower level. Upstairs deck if wonderful wine and fire pit. Host has done a good job to make if vacation friendly

This was our central home base for our family vacation to South Dakota. The home did not dissapoint. Our kids slept great and enjoyed the ping pong table. If we are back in the Rapids City area, we would stay here again.
