Rustic 3BR cottage on beach, 40 min from downtown Milwaukee.

This 3BR rustic cottage is quietly tucked away and just steps away from the shoreline of Lake Michigan. Large deck for beautiful dinners on the water and a walk on the beach. 40 minutes from downtown Milwaukee. Relax and wake to a sunrise on your own beach.

* Bedrooms are all on 2nd level - BR1 & 2 each have a Queen, BR3 has 1 Single and 1 Full
* Sleeper sofa in open area Living Room
* First Floor Family Room has AC unit and all BR's have a window AC unit
* There is one Bathroom which is on the first floor, with a separate shower / changing area
* Large deck furnished with dining table and chairs, recliners, hammock and gas grill
* 150' of shoreline for beach fun

The cottage is in a quiet family oriented area. No large groups or parties allowed. Cleaning fee is non-refundable as it is used to pay a professional cleaning service to prepare for each guest stay. Closed for winter from mid-Nov to mid-April.

Lake Vacation

We loved our week in this very comfortable home! We enjoyed hanging out on the large deck, fires in the evening, walking the beach and sleeping in the comfortable beds with the windows open to hear the waves. Very relaxing! We hope to visit again sometime!

Relax at The Ripple

A perfect relaxing getaway! Cottage is so clean and simple. Every windows has a view of the beach or woods. And there are lots of windows!! Windows open and the fresh lake air breeze blows through the whole house. Very private and peaceful. Deck is perfect for hanging out and getting some sun, and eating meals. Dave is great and quick to respond to any questions.

Miles of soft sand beach to walk, private without isolation, complete, clean, comfortable home setup, with direct water access to actively enjoy or watch the ever changing currents and colors. I wish I was still there.... Communication with Dave always timely and direct. Elaine

Escape to the beach.

Ripple is clean and comfortable with a fantastic view of Lake Michigan. We spent most of our time enjoying the large deck or playing on the beautiful sand beach. Everything we needed was there. An easy drive to Sheboygan or Port Washington. When we opened up all the windows in the cupola the natural draft pulled in cool air off the lake so we never had to use the Air conditioning! Fantastic! Thank you Dave.

Amazing Beach House

Our family had an amazing time creating unforgettable memories on the secluded beach. The lake house is lovely and well kept with all of the comforts of home. You can't beat the views or the location. The host was also absolutely wonderful.

Wonderful place on the inland ocean

From the moment we got there we were mesmerized by the views of the lake and sandy beach! The beach house was clean and well kept. It’s lighting was a little tricky to figure out but simple enough. We really enjoyed our stay. We visited Sheyboygan but could’ve easily stayed at the property the entire time! We would definitely consider coming back.

Beautiful Lake House

Our family enjoyed the secluded and relaxing beach, deck and lovely lake house. The hosts have done a wonderful job creating a homey atmosphere and providing all the comforts of home.

Amazingly relaxing house on the beach with a tremendous view

The most relaxing vacation I've ever had. The house is among a string of houses along Lake Michigan and the sandy beach yet is very private and secluded from the others. Two living rooms and main bedroom have gorgeous view of Lake Michigan with no obstructions - nothing like hearing the waves at night or watching a storm over the lake. Main rooms have AC if you need it. Great deck perfect for watching the waves and grilling; and bluetooth speakers let you enjoy your music as well in or outdoors. Loved talking long walks along the sandy beach or smelling the lilacs while dozing in the hammock. Despite the remote feeling, there's a couple towns & groceries less than 10 minutes away, and a handful of restaurants if you don't feel like grilling or cooking in the kitchen stocked with the basics. The owners had really thought things through and everything was easy to use and ready at hand. Terrific and timely communication with the owners. We'll be back!

Truly Outstanding

I worry this review will be so glowing that it will sound like a paid advert. Trust me, it’s not, but absolutely everything about this booking was wonderful. The location feels hidden and isolated due to the trees despite being near other properties, the access to the wonderful beach is just stepping off the lovely back deck, and the house itself is a perfect cost vacation home. Beyond the gorgeous (and completely as advertised) property, the communication with the seller was first rate. Responsive, accommodating, and friendly. I genuinely can’t find a single fault. Highly recommended.

A Great House on Lake Michigan

A great house with all the needed amenities. Updated bathroom and shower. Right on the lake. Very comfortable. Great view of the lake through the living room picture window. Great deck just off the beach. Easy beach access.

Perfect Place for Whistling Straits

Great host and communication. Quiet and private house with awesome views. Just a short drive to Whistling Straits Golf Course. Perfect stay.

A gem of a property

Peaceful, private, property on the waters edge with miles of sandy beach to walk. Home well stocked, not cluttered and well thought out providing needed space for usual activities. Sunrises and the ever changing colors of the lake awesome.

Excellent stay

We had a great stay at Dave's house. There was everything we needed to be able to stay without leaving, but also close enough to town to be able to eat out if we wanted. The views were amazing and we had perfect weather for lazy beach days. I would recommend Dave's place if you want a nice relaxing vacation.
