Lake house right on the water! New renovation include kitchen, 3 season porch/sunroom, 3 full baths and 1/2 bath, mini split AC/Heating Unit! Special features include one-of-a-kind 1300 sq. ft. dock and a large 3 season in porch with spectacular views of the lake. ---Large porch features two sitting areas and a large dining area. You can spend your whole vacation on this porch in any season!!!. Watch movies on lower level with projector and screen and popcorn machine -- all included....
Multiple seating and dining areas inside and outside all with lake view.
Work remotely if needed with high speed wireless.
Separate Guest Cottage has its own full bath, sitting area, and mini kitchenette. Ideal for couples on vacation or families traveling with grandparents. Home is located on the West shore of Cayuga in the widest part of the lake. It can easily accommodate 8 people.
Pets Welcome. ($75 pet fee)
150 Feet of Lake Front! Huge Dock! Big back yard: 1 1/2 acre. Spend time at the lake with the canoe, kayak, or the paddle boat or just hang on a float. Play games on a lawn such as Bocce or Cornhole, yahtzee, dominoes, connect four, tic tac toe.
Fully equipped kitchen and outdoor grill. Fire table on dock.
Lounge chairs on dock; adirondack chairs around a firepit. Dog leash so dogs can access grass, beach, water, and dock and still be safe.
Knotty pine interior and wood stove make a relaxing environment for your time away. Located in the middle of the Cayuga Wine trail. It is 30 miles north of Ithaca and 12 miles from Seneca Falls.

Home has great-room with sitting area around a wood stove, and another sitting area facing a bay window over looking the lake. Main cottage has a lakeview bedroom w/ queen bed (attached full bath), 2 additional bedrooms with double beds, and another1 full bath.

Separate guest cottage has: full bath, full-size bed, futon (full size,) microwave, refrigerator, toaster oven, toaster, coffee maker, and breakfast table.

Everything about this property was great. The host, Janice, definitely went the extra mile to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. She added nice touches to the property, had great communication, and made the check-in process seamless. She really ensured everything was taken care of so we could just relax and focus on our vacation. The property itself is as close to the water as you can get and is great for kids, pets, and fun for adults. We will definitely look to stay here again!

Everything you could possibly need!

Loved our stay at this Cottage. It had absolutely everything you could need for a relaxing time. Even in cooler temperatures, we had plenty to do. Heaters worked great in the sunroom to be able to enjoy the panoramic view of the lake while staying warm. We will definitely be back to utilize this lovely home again.

Annual family vacation

This had everything we were looking for: Easy access to the lake, no close neighbors (very quiet), plenty of small group sitting areas inside and out. Owner provided clear instructions for using everything on the property and kept in touch during our stay. The kitchen and bathrooms were amazingly well stocked. From boats and games (inside and out) to easy access to Cayuga Lake attractions, we couldn't have asked for more.

Perfect Getaway Spot!

We stayed for 2 nights but wish we could have stayed longer! This is a wonderful property - meticulously maintained and the host literally thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Right on the water, with the guest cottage right across the street, so a lot of space for sleeping and spreading out! The view is gorgeous, with lots of windows and outdoor space to sit and relax. We will definitely be back!!

Lovely week on the lake

The house was in a prime location - right on the lake! It was well equipped with all of the items we needed. We love to cook and did so every day. Everything was well thought out with the rental to make it as enjoyable as possible. The two story sunporch was amazing and when we were indoors that's where we were. Great spot right on the water!

Janice has a lovely place and the house is full of a lot of ambiance and fun things. Our extended family and three dogs had a great time! Lots to do and see in that area, plus just canoeing around and playing corn hole. The only thing I'd mention is that the road separates the main house and the Eisenhower cottage and it has a lot of fast moving traffic on it. Overall we loved it and will return.

Great Vacation

Good location, right on the water. My dog had a blast in the Lake. Enough room for all 6 adults, 2 big dogs and a baby. would definitely rent here again. The owner was very quick responding to any questions we had. The only thing I would recommend is make wifi available in the cottage and change the blind in the cottage bathroom. Janice thank you so much for a great stay!!

Perfect place!

I loved this little cottage! We were celebrating my daughters wedding this weekend at Cayuga lake state park which was a short distance away and this cottage was the perfect size. Being the mother of the bride,I loved the little apartment across the road,was nice and quiet and cute. The porch was a great place to sit at night and listen to the waves. Cayuga Lake is beautiful

Cottage is beautiful. Road traffic from Route 89 is loud and sometimes vibrates the house. I was surprised to see that some cleaning wasn't done so I did it. After that we had a great time on screened porches and in canoe on lake.

Ladies wine tasting weekend

wonderful getaway on the lake! the screened in porch is EVERYTHING. 3 comfortable bedrooms in the main cottage, one with a half bath en suite, plus a full bath and another half bath in the main cottage. we put an air bed in the living room (however, no AC in the living room, just window units in the bedrooms). the guest cottage has a full bath, a comfortable bed and a futon, and paintings of Eisenhower everywhere 😂 we loved this place, and Janice was wonderful and so helpful, offering advice to help plan our wine tasting itinerary. Highly recommend!

Cozy lakeside cottage

We had a wonderful time at the cottage, celebrating a 50th birthday. The house itself feels like a home. Everything is comfortable and feels like real people exist in the space - unlike a cold condo or hotel. Every amenity is provided and the extra personal touches really made us feel welcome. Location is fantastic. The dock, beach area, and screened porch allow enjoyment of the lake whether you want to be in the water or relax on dry land. Janice is a fabulous host & made sure everything was ready for our arrival. Communication was easy. The info kit covered so many great recommendations for indoor and outdoor fun nearby. I'd absolutely come back to this cottage again. It really feels like home from the first moment you walk through the door.

Home comfort right on the water.

The house fit our needs perfectly! We stayed for 6 nights and I think my husband actually shed a tear the day we left. The screened in upper and lower decks were perfect for my mom (83 years young), as she had a bird's-eye view of everything from there. The dock was perfect for my husband's boat (18'), which we tied off every evening without incident. Our dog lived it even more than us... If that's possible. We are already thinking about next year's trip. Janice was an angel to work with. We felt like we were a part of her family. Highly recommend!

Absolutely stunning view of the lake

What a great place to stay with a large group. It is right...I mean right on Cayuga lake. The location is very rural and peaceful, but central to several wineries and parks. About 15 minutes from the historical town of Seneca Falls. There are four outside seating areas, including a table with seating for 8 in the lanai (FL term for screened in patio). There is also a nice fire pit that we unfortunately didn't have time to use. I went with my mother, her two sisters, a good friend of my mother's, and my poor solo-man husband, so it was nice to have the guest house all to ourselves. The property was clean and well maintained. Janice provided very good directions and customer service. The listing was mostly accurate. We had one issue and that was the bottom bunk with the double bed does not have a mattress; instead it was just covered with a thin plastic like pad and a blanket, which rendered it useless to our adult group. It was described as for children, but I guess I would recommend moving one of the real futon mattresses, for example the one in the guest house, to the bottom bunk for comfort. All other beds were comfortable. I would definitely recommend this cottage to others and may stay there again in the future.

Pros and cons

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home Some Pros: The lake and views are breathtaking Kayaks and paddle boards and great deck to enjoy the lake. Wonderful sunroom and heater was a nice touch. Allows dogs!!! Fully stocked kitchen 2 half baths one full bath Fenced in area Some cons: It's very much a home and you feel like you are staying in someones home. The house has Musty, camp smell. You have to park across the street. the street is high speed very nerve-racking up crossing the street with kids and dogs The pictures were not accurate or Up to date. Looked nicer in the photos. Kids were looking forward to projection and movie night ( one of our night was raining) Popcorn machine looked gross we didn't use could not find projection as shown in photos( sharing so owner is aware) The welcome basket was dingey used cups with a bottle of wine and a wrinkled bottoms of a purse pack of almonds ( it was comical) im mentioning this because I don't believe the owner of the camp put this together and should be aware. The guest house is a garage and very much looks and feels like a garage. Very disappointed Overall my family enjoyed the time away, I understand Finger Lakes are expensive but I feel like I paid for the view and outside area not the house.

Cottage was nice and we very much enjoyed the enclosed porches. The cement dock is nice, however, we were disappointed that we were unable to dock our boat there. I wish we had known how close to the highway the cottage was, approximately 10 feet from a road that is traveled at high rate of speed in that area. Fortunately, we were able to keep our dogs out of the road for the most part until the last night we were there when they managed to bolt out the door when we were coming home and ran straight into the highway. Thank the Lord that nothing was coming and we were able to safely get them back into the house. Janice is an awesome host, and the welcome gifts and parting gifts for appreciate it. Thank you for a enjoyable week Janice.

Relaxing and fun get away!

The cottage is close to the water which made it easy to cast a line out for fishing and sitting on the screened in porch listening to the lake. It was very relaxing. Fun times on the kayak and paddle boat which you can also fish from 🎣🙂. Janice is very responsive and her cottage is wonderful but that screened in porch is awesome!!! A lot of wineries are close too! The guest house is adorable. I would recommend staying here. Thanks Janice!

Awesome lakefront home!

We loved staying at this home. It was just about perfect for our needs ... it's dog-friendly, kid-friendly (two small but nearly-identical sized bedrooms for our girls worked out perfectly), and friend-friendly with the separate guest house across the street. Janice was an absolute pleasure to work with. She replied quickly and accurately to any questions we had, and the nice touches like treats and toys for the kids, dog, and grown-ups were all greatly appreciated! This is one of the better vacation rentals we've seen in terms of amenities ... plenty of dishes, plates, shampoo & conditioner, towels, boats, fishing supplies, and lots more. The layout worked well for our group, and the two-level sunroom is amazing. Just a few (very) minor comments for awareness for future renters ... - The photos show a swing set in the yard, but there is no swing set. This was a bit of a disappointment for our girls as this was a strong selling point for this home. But there is a nice playground a few minutes drive down the street. - The guest house kitchenette is functional, but our friends had to stop by several times for things that could easily have been included like silverware. - As other reviewers have mentioned, the parking & guest home are separated from the main home by a road. It's not particularly busy, but the cars drive FAST. Just be aware if you have small kids or dogs! Overall, we loved our trip and would absolutely return to this wonderful home. Thanks Janice!

This is my home away from home. I fell in love with Cayuga Lake when I was a freshman at Eisenhower College at the top of the lake, now the Northeast College of Health Sciences. My children grew up spending summers here boating, sailing, swimming.

Why they chose this property

Since I have spent some much time at the cottage ---- for the summers that my children were growing up the whole summer -- I hope that i have created a unique place for people to rent and also to feel at home. The kitchen is fully stocked; the porch was designed so you could practically live out there; the lakeview main bedroom was redesigned so that you can lay in bed and see and hear the lake; the decorations are a combination of pictures by local artists as well as things that remind people to enjoy their vacation and their life.

Stunning views of the lake from porch, seating area, kitchen, and main bedroom. Steps to the lake. Can swim, float, canoe, kayak, or paddleboat. Porch is great place to relax, eat, play cards and games, make the lower level into a movie theater with movie projecxtor and screen provided (and popcorn maker) or just watch the boats go by. Multiple seating areas and dining areas inside and outside . Separate guest cottage is great for couples or grandparents traveling with family who want a little space sometimes.
