New to PROACTIVE Vacations! PET FRIENDLY!! "On Holden Pond" is a delightful 4 bedroom, 2 bath oceanfront beach cottage located on the west end of beautiful Holden Beach.

Bring your family dog along! "On Holden Pond" is a unique, pet friendly house filled with lots of natural light, offering fantastic views of the sparkling Atlantic Ocean! You will enjoy the spacious living room/dining room combination, with comfortable new furniture, flat screen TV, modern lighting and ceiling fans, vaulted ceilings and updated Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring. The kitchen is bright and cheerful, with updated appliances, Keurig and standard drip coffee makers, along with everything you would need for creating gourmet meals at home. "On Holden Pond" is decorated with beautiful inspirations of the sea!

Accommodating up to 8 guests, Bedroom #1 is located on the 1st floor, complete with a Queen bed, TV, full bath with walk-in shower shared with Bedroom #2, and has a street side view. Bedroom #2 is located on the 1st floor, complete with a Queen bed, TV, full bath with walk-in shower shared with Bedroom #1, and has a street side view. Bedroom #3 is located on the 2nd floor, complete with a Queen bed, TV, full bath with tub/shower combo shared with Bedroom #4, and has a street side view. Bedroom #4 is located on the 2nd floor, complete with 2 Twin beds, TV, full bath with tub/shower combo shared with Bedroom #3, and has a semi-ocean view. You will appreciate the laundry closet located outside of the 1st floor bedroom.

You will have your toes in the sand in just a matter of minutes using your private beach boardwalk, while enjoying the sights and sounds of the nearby ocean! After your day on the beach, rinse away the sand using the foot rinse shower on the beach boardwalk. Come and enjoy all that Holden Beach has to offer! Great property, perfect for 2 families of 4

We had a great time at this property. It was very clean and nicely equipped. It had a fully equipped kitchen, and TVs in all bedrooms. The deck and yard were very nice, and would be perfect if you were traveling with a dog, as there were many gates to keep them contained. The only thing that was a bit of an inconvenience was having to make up the beds ourselves and bring bath towels. Usually that is provided in rentals.

Beautiful ocean front home

Our family stayed at On Holden Pond for our yearly beach getaway and we were very glad we chose this rental. It is newly renovated and has a very spacious light and airy decor. The beds were all very comfortable and there was plenty of dresser and closet space to put your clothes. We loved the updated deck and walkway too! We enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs for morning coffee and looking at the stars on the further out sitting area closer to the beach. There were also several gates along the deck (at the top of all staircases) so keeping pets or little ones within the deck area was very easy…loved that! The only minor negative was that a few kitchen cabinets had crumbs and food debris from the previous tenant and there were little ants that invaded. Even after cleaning the cabinets the ants remained and got into our food. The cleaning person neglected to clean the bathroom drawers as well and there was sticky toothpaste residue and hair in a few drawers. So I just kept my toiletries in my bag. Otherwise the home was very clean inside and out. The living room had a very comfortable couch and two recliners and a swivel chair. So 6 people can sit comfortably. The dining room table is also connected to living room and chairs can double for living room seating if needed. This place was great and really met and exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay here again!
