The property was comfortable and well furnished. While the interior was a little dated, the appliances were new and everything was functional and well maintained.We enjoyed easy access to Golden Gate Canyon SP and trails around Nederland. There are also breweries and restaurants within a short drive along CO Hwy 119. Note that the home is located adjacent to Hwy 119 and, while screened by foliage, road noise is clearly audible.This home would be an excellent choice for a family/group trip.

Huge house with everything you would ever need. Enjoyed sitting on the wrap around deck in the morning with a cup of coffee and at night to watch the stars.

I reserved this house for our family of 8 adults and 2 small kids. It's hard to properly convey just how perfect this house was for us! Especially the kids. The owner has thought of every need that you might have, and is more than willing to address anything else you might need. The house is extremely clean and comfortable. There was more than enough room for all of us to get space if we needed it. One of the things that was mentioned most often is how quiet the part of the house with the bedrooms was, which was especially helpful with the little's bedtimes! As far as the location of the house, it was awesome! We were a little over an hour of Denver and about 45 minutes out of Golden. The drives are absolutley gorgeous! This was the first visit to this area for the majority of our family, but because in no small part of this house, we all plan on returning! We can't recommend this amazing location and home owner enough! We'd give it 10 stars if we could!

The house was very nice with all the necessities needed for a comfortable stay. Our family had a fun time playing ping pong and darts in the game room and then relaxing in the hot tub afterwards.The owner was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again!

It was perfect. We loved the open living room & kitchen area to all be together. The game room was well used with lots of laughter and memories. Stayed for two nights just outside Blackhawk with a group of friends. Host was amazing, gave us a gift basket, customized welcome letter and great communication with what was happening in the local area. Wonderful Property

The property is everything as detailed in the owner description. However, all the "extra" amenities in the property make the stay amazing. Very clean. Everything you need to cook including a nice supply of staples/spices. Fun game room. Secluded yet easy to get to.

Beautiful mountain stay

Absolutely beautiful family vacation! Celebrated my parents 40 year anniversary and Brigitte hung a sign on the fireplace that said “cheers to 40 years”! Such a sweet personal touch! A sweet gift basket and had all the amenities we need to make some homemade meals and enjoy the home even more- this place has everything! Our daughter loved all the kids toys and nephew loved all the family games. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Weekend in the mountains

The house was lovely with all sorts of little extras that made it an even better stay. I really appreciated the personalized touches. We were celebrating my daughter's 16th birthday and there were birthday decorations and treats. The host was very thoughtful about suggesting things we might enjoy doing. This is a great location for larger groups, either as your home base or your staycation.

Relaxing Mountain Getaway

What a wonderful cabin! Stayed with grown children and extended family. The cabin was immaculate and well appointed. The kitchen is well stocked and had every appliance and spice needed for all of our meals. We enjoyed the hot tub and were happy to have the washer to wash our suits before heading home. I sent a couple messages to the owner for quick questions and she responded immediately. This cabin was perfect for a getaway, loved the mountain views.

Exceptional Stay

This is an exceptional property. The home is well appointed and super clean. We were made to feel very welcome and at home. The amenities were superior. Everything was well stocked and the beds were comfy. We loved the layout of the home and the hot tub was a great place to relax after long days of hiking and touring. The location is excellent and private and central to many things to do in any direction. We are super happy to have stayed at the Peak to Peak Retreat and look forward to returning. This is a hidden gem.

Perfect for a get together with friends in the Colorado wilderness

Absolutely loved our stay here. Location was perfect, felt remote enough for us, but still close to Nederland which had everything we needed for good dining, groceries and shopping. Also in great proximity to lots of fantastic day-hikes from easy to strenuous. Hot tub was perfect for sore muscles after days filled with being outdoors. The cabin was clean, had a great assortment of anything we could need, the host was responsive and really made us feel welcome with all sorts of special touches. The game room made for a fun evening of friendly competition, and the fireplace was a nice way to relax in the evenings. We couldn't have asked for anything better. Truly a great place to stay.
