We truly enjoyed staying at Le P’tit St Martin. Our wonderful host met us at the apartment and explained everything completely and thoroughly. The apartment was neat and clean and looked recently renovated. Parking was very easy. The apartment is located in a great location, close to shops, dining options and points of interest. It is also an easy drive to all the historic locations in Normandy. We found that it was also very reasonably priced. We look toward to coming back!
Le P'tit Saint Martin was one of the cleanest and well-equipped apartments I have ever stayed at! It is right on the main street in Bayeux but was fairly quiet. We appreciate the opportunity to cook and wash clothes. Clarisse was kind enough to leave us some special treats and a good communicator. Highly recommend!

Le P’tit Saint Martin was an absolute dream for our stay in Bayeux. Nothing was lacking for our comfort in the apartment. The location on Rue de Saint Martin was perfect for dining or walking the streets of the old town. Clarisse the host was so welcoming and attentive to our needs. Merci beaucoup Clarisse! À La Prochaine!
Clarisse is a welcoming and generous host. Apartment is clean, modern, and well equipped. Spiral staircase is tight but manageable for most. Clarisse helped us!
Could not have asked for a better property to stay in. The property owner Clarisse was so welcoming and responded promptly to all our communications. The location in Bayeux was close to all the amenities. We walked from the train station in less than 15 minutes. The apartment is surrounded by restaurants, bakeries and a variety of different shops. We wouldn’t hesitate to return to this magical town and this treasure of a property.
Clariss was a wonderful host. All communication was quick & clear. The apt was even nicer than advertised. Wonderful location, close to everything. We would definitely stay again!

A stunning apartment in a perfect location in the centre of Bayeux. Had a great time whilst here and Clarisse was fantastic. We felt very well looked after and would definitely recommend this apartment.
We travelled all over France and Clarisse’s L’petit St. Martin was by far our favorite. It was extremely comfortable with all of the modern must haves! It is situated on the Main Street and we had the perfect view of thier Medevil Parade from our windows . There was a wonderful cross breeze which kept the temperature very agreeable. We toured to Mont St. Michel and the beaches of Normandy right out of Bayeux with tour guides picking is up approximately a 5-10 minute walk after stopping at the local grocery store!

Clarisse was the most amazing host; she met us in the parking area to assist us to the apt and kept in touch throughout our stay and upon departure. The apartment itself was absolutely beautiful- and spotless, with cafes, grocery and restaurants just steps away! We wanted to stay for another month! Maybe next time.
Merci encore Clarisse…
Vous nous manquez!!

This apartment was perfectly located on the Main Street in Bayeaux. Easily accessible with in 30 mins of all famous attractions. Bayeaux, though was an attraction in itself. Take the walking tour, for sure! Our Host, Claresse couldn’t have been more kind, caring and hospitable. The apartment was stocked w many essential. Only 2 comments could be offered…..be prepared to climb the spiral stair case in this centuries old building, and Parking is a learning experience! Both said a a laugh and smile!

The apartment was in a great location. Close to everything you need and a quick drive to all of the historic areas. There is a spiral staircase to get to the apartment. There is both free and paid parking close by. The bedroom is small but the bed is big and comfortable. The water closet area is small. My husband is 6ft 2 inches and it was a tight fit. The shower and sink area are a good size and modern. The living room area is spacious and that’s where we kept our luggage. The kitchen is small but is well stocked. We cooked dinner twice since we were there for a week. I also did laundry and while the washer looks small it could hold a lot. Communication with Clarisse was very good before and during our stay. She left us water, cider and candy as a welcome gift. I would definitely stay here again!
Charming apartment on the bustling streets of Bayeux. Coffee, pastries and restaurants within a block, many restaurant choices and a grocery store within 3 blocks. Walk to the cathedral and the museums. The apartment itself is small but well laid out, the living room overlooks the street and the bedroom is in the back (very quiet). Comfortable bed, plenty of towels, well-stocked apartment. The host was very kind, showed us around the apartment, made recommendations, and was available to us. On checkout she even took us to the train station which was amazingly kind.I would absolutely stay here again and hope to do so!
Clariss did an excellent job with communication and it was helpful. She went as far as to pick us up at the train station and help us get into the apartment. It was bright and airy located a beautiful street lined with cafes, shops and restaurants. The only drawback is the stairs that you needed to climb. Clariss and her husband helped us with luggage and it was very appreciative. The walk around town was fun and full of things to see. I would recommend this location for your stay in the Normandy region.

We have never had such a welcome from a VRBO host. Clarisse knew we had excess luggage from our cruise and because taxi service is limited in Bayeux, she picked us up from the train station. She has set up the best appointed property. It has everything! If you want to cook for yourself, she has everything you need in the kitchen. So many thoughtful items that you don't find in others properties. The location is perfect. The apartment is steps from everything including a sweet grocery store, shopping, the tourist office, the bi-weekly market, the departure location for tours. The apartment has excellent wifi and plenty of hot water. We really appreciated being able to wash our clothes in the washing machine. I hope I can return to Bayeux and stay again at Le petite st martin. Thanks Clarisse for sharing your property with us and being so welcoming! It was perfect for us and made our stay in Bayeux memorable and comfortable.
My wife and I spent 4 excellent days visiting Bayeux and the local area. We chose the apartment due to its location and excellent reviews, situated right in the centre of town amongst all the shops and restaurants - we were not disappointed.Clarisse, who I have to say was the most amazing host, was there to greet us and show us around the immaculately clean and well equipped property. When we are next in the Bayeux area we would definitely stay again and would recommend the property. For information purposes only,We had a car, so after dropping off our cases outside the property, we then used the free car park during our stay which was less than 5mins walk away. The stairs to 3rd floor apartment as previous comments suggested could be a problem for some people. For us, neither was a big issue.Thank you again Clarisse for letting us use your apartment and for being the perfect host.Nous esperons vous recontrer encore un jour.Richard et Sharon
Book this one! We are from New Zealand and stayed for a week. The accommodation is exactly as described. There are heaps of little extras to make guests comfortable. Clarisse is very thoughtful, and is lovely to communicate with. Nothing was a problem. I can't rate Le Petit St. Martin highly enough! Just a wee note: it is up 3 flights of narrow stairs and has no elevator. This would be a challenge if you have heavy/large suitcases. Bayeux is particularly charming and you are right in the heart of it. There is a fantastic patisserie just across the road and lots of great shops and restaurants both up and down the street The Bayeux shuttle departs from a carpark just a couple of streets away for its tours. The cathedral is an easy walk, as is the Bayeux Tapestry. The train station is just a 15 minute walk. It was easy for us to find a taxi at the taxi stand, but you would need to book a taxi for departure. This was a 10/10 from us. A fabulous stay away from home.
A charming apartment in the heart of old town Bayeux, just a couple blocks from the Cathedral. My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in early May, and it was the perfect home base for exploring the town and region. Plenty of cafes, restaurants, bakeries and shops right outside the window, and a fantastic farmer’s market a couple blocks up on Saturday mornings. The apartment is appointed with anything you could need during your stay, including kitchen and bath towels, hand soap, dish soap, bodywash and shampoo, a fantastic hairdryer, bed linens, cooking utensils, spices, dishes and a full complement of barware. There is a Nescafe Dolce Gusto machine in the kitchen (similar to Nespresso), and Clarisse provides coffee, tea and hot cocoa pods. The apartment appears to have undergone a recent, full renovation. Everything is new and kept very clean - it is immaculate. Clarisse is the consummate host, and was in constant communication with us before and during our stay. She was available for any questions we had about the area and was glad to provide recommendations for any activities and restaurants. She is a lovely person and we consider her our new, dear friend in Bayeux. A couple practical notes: 3rd floor, lots of narrow stairs. It’s a 15 minute walk to the train station with luggage, all on sidewalk, but there is a slight hill leading up to the station. Bayeux itself is very compact and walkable. Nighttime and early mornings are quiet, and it is incredibly safe.
This was a perfect location in the heart of Bayeau. Clarisse was a gracious and friendly host who was very responsive to our needs. The 50 steps up a narrow spiral staircase were a challenge with our large bags but it added to the charm.
