About this property
Beautiful Mountain Cabin near Tetons Yellowstone
Experience solitude and mountain living away from the crowds. This cabin is a great base camp to explore the Tetons, Wind River Mountains, and Yellowstone. The cozy cabin is remote yet has modern conveniences for up to 6.
From your private balcony you can listen to aspens, enjoy the solitude, and relish 3 private forest acres with abundant wildlife including resident moose and bear populations. With two bedrooms, kitchen with full-sized fridge and updated appliances, open floor plan, and cozy wood burning stove, you'll have a great retreat to relax after a day out in the mountains, fishing in the nearby river, or snowmobiling.
The Warm Spring Mountain Cabin sits at 8200 feet and is uniquely located at the junction of three mountain ranges (Wind Rivers, Gros Venture, and Absaroka), providing access to the continental divide and miles of trails, close proximity to fishing, mountain biking, and unlimited possibilities for adventure or relaxation in nature. This is the prefect basecamp to explore nearby wilderness areas, national parks, and national forests. A scenic 1 hour drive to Grand Teton National Park and 1.5 hours from Yellowstone, you'll be in the middle of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem and all that is has to offer. The restaurants, museums, and art galleries of Dubois are only 20 minutes away.
Disclosure -
The cabin has an off-the-grid feel but has stable electricity and wifi. Water is hauled in from local spring to 1,000 gallon cistern. Guests are encouraged to conserve water during their stay. There are two web-based security cameras (one in front and one in back of house) to monitor place (mainly for bear activity and weather events) when the cabin is unoccupied. Cameras are disabled on check-in. Winter access is ski in with parking for vehicles and trailer 1/8 mile away at neighboring property.

Why they chose this property
We've been coming to the Tetons to camp, hike, and climb since we were young. This property is in the heart of the mountains and is a great base-camp for doing all of the outdoor activities we love. We really want to share our cabin with others that enjoy the outdoors as much as we do.
