Wow this place was EXACTLY what we were looking for in a mountain cabin. Remote enough to be peaceful. Close enough to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the National Forest to be convenient. Tons of comfortable common space to hang out with the family. The furniture is comfortable. Four master suites well suited for traveling with several adult children (but younger kids would be fine). Full bathrooms for all. Well equipped kitchen. A pool table that is set up in a space where you can ACTUALLY play pool. Also, the neighboring cabins are not all that close so when you're out on the deck you still feel like you have some relative privacy. It really was great. The theater is a nice touch although we ran out of time to use it. We DID however get the kids fully hooked on the greatest video games from the 1980s with their full size Multicade game. We would stay again and I highly recommend it to others!

Had an awesome 2 days stay at the cabin. All the rooms are very spacious with lot of natural lighting. Beautiful location, peaceful environment and felt at home. Kids enjoyed the pool table and other games. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My overall impression of the Cushy Cabin was AMAZING!!!!!! As soon as you walk into the property, you feel that cabin life settling in. The combination of rustic and industrial look gave the cabin that feel of being in the mountains. And the view alone, was astonishing. The location was perfect.

Beautiful Cabin! Great stay!

We had a great time at the Cushy Cabin. The home is beautiful and looks just like the pictures. It was actually even better than we expected. It was very clean and spacious. The grill was great so we didn’t even have to eat out and we also enjoyed the other amenities and spent most of our time at the cabin. The location was great. Very quiet and relaxing but still close to town. Scott was super responsive and very accommodating. We would certainly stay here again.

Awesome Property & Awesome Owner!!

The cabin location was great. Close to Pigeon Forge but not too close. There were some areas of the cabin that could have been a little cleaner but overall it was exactly what was described in the listing, four master suites, awesome living/kitchen area, great theater and we loved the balconies - did I mention pet friendly as well! Scott was very responsive to all our questions/needs and very helpful! Overall an excellent stay!!

Great place, wonderful locatikn

We had such a wonderful time at Cloud 9! I do give it a four to five in all categories but suggest that more of “the little things” be supplied such as more towels and washcloths (we were supplied two in each bathroom for a stay of 3 evenings, dishwashing detergent, and kitchen towels / potholders .. These “small things” are easily improved upon but overall, a wonderful property.

WE ARE STILL ON "CLOUD NINE"

Cloud Nine was an amazing location! The description and photos of the property are wonderful, but seeing it in person was even better. I booked this vacation to bring my mother, sister, nephew and one of his friend. The two 17 year olds LOVED the theatre room. That was home base for them the entire week. My sister and I loved the arcade game and played Galaga a lot. The location was perfectly located and allowed us to take several hikes in the Smokies. We were able to head into Gatlinburg for a day without being in the middle of that craziness for our whole trip. Cloud Nine's bedrooms were perfect with each one having its own bathroom. It was nice to have that privacy. The balconies were incredible places to hang out and catch the sunrise or sunset. The hot tub was a hit as well. The property owner was very responsive and checked in to be sure we had everything we needed. I wish I could give this property and the experience a higher score than five stars. We also took our one dog who enjoyed his time there as well. Overall it was a great trip and I would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you so much for the great and memorable vacation.

Immaculate & stunning.

Not sure if HGTV built/decorated CLOUD NINE but it’s picture perfect. Cabin is immaculate, spotless, w/wood ceilings, walls & floors. Unfortunately, my trip was cut short by several days so I tried to take advantage of what I could in short time. Mountaintops off in the distance & are visible but moderately obstructed by trees. Steep, curvy mountain roads were a blast for me, but may frighten the heck out of others. Roads were dry & might be an entirely different experience with rain/snow. Coming from a big city my initial search was for a secluded cabin, tucked away from noise, but large windows were a must. CLOUD NINE’s massive windows are what sold me. Unfortunately, a cabin was being built a few doors down & I heard pounding, beeping, etc all day. That put a damper on my desire for peace. I’m now at my FLA condo where Hurricane construction & noise are non-stop. Driving me batty. I’ll be renting a cabin on my way back home to the big city. Normally, I stay at a hotel overnight. Thought I’d try something different with a cabin in Smoky Mountains & I’ll never stay at a hotel ever again. I’m spoiled now. The cabin is way more than I need but if the owner can assure no construction & price is right for 1 adult then I’ll be happy to stay at CLOUD NINE on my way back to the big city in a few months or so. I don’t think CLOUD NINE cabin itself can disappoint. Construction was a bummer :-)

This is our second time in the cabin, as always it was very cozy, and we enjoyed a lot as well as our friends. Kitchen is fully equipped and what we love the most is that each room has its individual bathroom, plus one additional full bathroom in the main floor. Everything is pretty clean and organized. The only thing this time is that the showers in the second floor had mold in some parts, like the corners. Other than that everything was amazing, the beautiful view and calm atmosphere.

The cabin was just as described. Although we were high on top of the mountain, the axis was paved and easy to get to. The cabin was spacious and open and had everything you need. We have stayed in several cabins over the decades, and this is by far one of the best! Scott was our host and I’ve never been responded to as quickly as he has. Five stars all the way, couldn’t be happier and will definitely be booking there again.

Great place to have a relaxing getaway!

Scott the owner is amazing great communication right from the start. We enjoyed rocking on the porch watching the sun go down. The fire place is cozy. We also enjoyed making s'mores in the fire pit outside. We can’t wait to come back to the smoky mountains, when we do we will be booking this beautiful cabin!

The tranquility, the remoteness, and the surroundings make it the perfect escape from the rigors of everyday life. The view from the deck is another huge plus point for us, we love spending time on the deck, whether it's for breakfast, lunch or dinner!

There are so many things we love about our cabin. The breathtaking design of the whole cabin is what made us fall in love with it. The high ceilings, the bespoke staircases, and the wrap around deck are all incredible. I think we love the calmness and tranquility of the whole cabin. It really feels like you are in a completely different world. You are able to spend time in beautiful natural surroundings, and take a break from your everyday life.
