INDOOR POOL + HOT TUBS
The cabin offers a year-round indoor pool along with two hot tubs for guests to enjoy throughout their stay. During the summer season, guests also have access to the community pool. To access the community pool, you'll find the pool pass conveniently hanging on the hooks by the front door. Enjoy refreshing swims and soak up the sun during your stay with our pool amenities.

THEATER & GAME ROOM
Movie enthusiasts can indulge in the theater room which features plush reclining couches, cozy blankets, pillows, an 8-foot screen, surround sound, and an exceptional cinematic experience. The game room includes arcade games and an 8-foot pool table for added entertainment. NOTE: The racing game is currently experiencing some intermittent issues. One side may not work consistently, while the other side is now mostly functioning normally. We appreciate your understanding as repairs are underway, though parts availability may mean it could take 8–12 weeks to fully resolve. In the meantime, Buck Hunter has been replaced with a brand new shooting game for you to enjoy!

KITCHEN & DINING
Our kitchen is equipped with all the essentials to satisfy your culinary needs. You'll have access to 2 refrigerators, stove, oven, microwave, and 2 dishwashers, making meal preparation and cleanup a breeze. Start your day right with a fresh cup of coffee from the coffee maker, and toast up your favorite breakfast treats with the toaster.

LIVING ROOM
Our well-appointed living room offers a comfortable and entertaining space for your stay. You'll find a television with cable channels, perfect for enjoying your favorite shows and movies. For gaming enthusiasts, we provide video games and a game room with a pool table, ensuring hours of fun and entertainment. Additionally, smart TV's are available for your convenience.

BEDROOMS
Each of the five king bedrooms comes with its own private bathroom, and one of the bedrooms includes a queen-over-queen bunk bed. On the top floor, there is a twin day bed with a trundle, along with two queen sofa beds. All televisions are equipped with Spectrum cable and streaming capabilities.

OUTDOOR AREAS
Enjoy your morning coffee or evening drink on one of the three expansive decks while taking in stunning peak-a-boo views of the Great Smoky Mountains. The primary deck includes a TV and a fireplace (usable between November and March). Fire up the outdoor grill and savor delicious meals in the fresh air, and enjoy outdoor dining at the picnic table.

PARKING
We offer free parking on the premises for your convenience. At the cabin, there is ample parking space available for 4-6 vehicles. Please ensure that you park only on the designated asphalt parking area and refrain from parking on the gravel or the street.

GOOD TO KNOW
Primary renter must be age 25 or older, and must remain on site for the reservation term.
Government ID required to be sent when rental agreement is signed for booking to be accepted.
We do not provide baby gates and do not allow them to be pressure-mounted due to damage to tongue and groove.

The house was great. We did have a crazy amount of snow and wished there had been a snow shovel available to dig out. I also wish that we knew in advance that you have to pay for all the games. Other than that I was able to communicate with well with the owners and they responded to my questions promptly. I’d stay here again

Exceptional stay!

We had a delightful winter vacation staying at BMR! The cabin was exceptionally clean and tidy, yet still felt cozy for Christmas. The open concept living room and kitchen were spacious enough for our large family to gather for meals and games with ease. We appreciated that there were plenty of bedrooms with bathrooms given our ages varied from adults down to babies, as well as the wrap around porches that offered great views and fresh air for the little ones to enjoy even during inclement weather. The amenities (pool, movie theatre, arcade) on the bottom floor were the highlight of the cabin and kept our children occupied throughout the week which allowed for the adults to rest and relax simultaneously. Our multigenerational family had a great time at BMR and would highly recommend to others with large families of varying ages and needs.

The house was beautiful, clean, and provided plenty of space for our group of 15. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially the stunning views and the many amenities the property offered. Overall, we had a great experience and made wonderful memories.There were, however, a few maintenance and safety items that could use attention. Both dishwashers were operational, but each had issues with the bottom rack not rolling out properly, and one dishwasher door would fall open if it was not fully latched. Unfortunately, the door came down on our legs several times.Each shower was equipped with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers, which was a nice touch, but all of the dispensers appeared to be broken and there was no body wash available.Another concern was that a company came to perform pool water testing during our stay, we were not notified in advance. We understand that routine maintenance is necessary, but prior communication would have been appreciated.The first aid kit appeared to contain only an open bottle of cleaner and a large bandage rather than basic first aid supplies.Additionally, we were unable to find any oven mitts and had to use towels when handling hot items from the oven. We also noticed several drinking glasses with chips or cracks that should be replaced for safety reasons.Despite these concerns, we truly enjoyed our stay and believe that addressing these items would make the experience even better for future guests.

Regarding the pool water testing, we do apologize if that felt unexpected. A mid-stay pool service email was sent, as routine pool care is important for guest safety and water quality, but we understand that clear communication is key and will continue working to make those service visits as smooth as possible. We also appreciate the note about the oven mitts. There are four oven mitts kept in the labeled drawer, but we’ll review the setup to make sure they are easy for guests to locate. We had a great stay at Bear Moon Rising. Very well stocked and very clean. The space was great. We appreciated the double dishwashers and fully stocked kitchen. 80th Birthday Getaway

Cabin was beautiful, clean, spacious, and work great for out getaway with the girls. Owners are quick to respond to questions and great hosts. Did see 1 bear while out walking but just turn the other way and no issues. Highly recommend for any large group.
