The Royal Eccles House is a National Historic Landmark and was built in 1920 with impeccable craftsmanship and detail. Fully modernized in 2020 under new ownership, this 5,000 sq. ft. spacious house was designed for elegance, luxury and personal space across all three levels. Graced with original refinished hardwood floors and natural light, this 4 bedroom/4 bathroom large house offers plenty of entertainment space for both adults and kids. Beautiful modernized and fully equipped kitchen with black granite counters and gas range serve up every conceivable amenity. Although we can accommodate and sleep up to 20 guests; the sweet spot is for 10-15 guests. The main floor offers the main living room, dining room, kitchen and two master bedrooms/baths with King Size Beds and a bedrooms/bath with Queen Size Bed. Basement has the fourth bedroom which is kind of a kids bedroom with six bunk beds and a queen bed accommodating up to eight kids/teens or adults. Outdoor private Jacuzzi seats six adults and there is an outdoor natural gas BBQ as well. The private patio seats up to 15 people for beautiful outdoor parties. This property works great for large families as the main living quarters is great adult space while the kids are having fun downstairs playing games, ping pong, billiards, or watching TV/movies. Downstairs bar/kitchen is great for stocking up on food/drinks. There is also a dedicated quiet office space away from the entertainment areas with a desk and printer/scanner/copier for quiet workspace should you dare work on your vacation! Wireless internet is abundant and easy to access. If this house doesn't have everything you need, then ask us for it and consider it done!

Great Family Get Together in Ogden

Beautiful historic home in nice area of Ogden. Close to restaurants, coffee, hiking, and 20 minutes to skiing. Comfortable family room and basement game area. New televisions with plenty of streaming. The kitchen was well supplied for cooking anything you desire. And, the hot tub was great!

Great property for large group

We were in town for a family wedding for three nights with my young adult children and some extended family. There was enough room for everyone to find private area if needed and great common space for us all to hang out together. Gray was very easy to connect with and wanted to make sure that everything we needed we had. It was in the high 90's the weekend we were there and the house doesn't have central A/C but there are window units throughout the house.

Found aloha in Utah

The house was perfect for our needs. I was exactly as listed and shown on profile. We were a wrestling team that traveled from Hawaii and we really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was big with an awesome stove and plenty room to serve the kids. The weather in Utah for our stay was super hot then super cold. The A/C made sleeping in and naps something to look forward to. The nights it was freezing the heater worked like we were still in Hawaii. Plenty of beds for our athletes and parents. If we ever return to Utah with a group I will be booking this house again.

Great Holiday Venue

We stayed at this historic Ogden home between Christmas and New Year's. We had a group of twelve-ten adults and two children. It was a wonderful stay! The house is a beautiful example of the historic architecture of the early 1900's. We had tons of room and comfort with great access to Ogden's historic 25th Street and winter sports "up the mountain". Our host was most gracious and helpful explaining the unique characteristics of the house and making sure our stay was enjoyable. I would highly recommend this venue!

This property was created for the enjoyment of big families to have privacy, intimacy and fun and live life to the full!

What makes this property unique

This is really a unique property where you can have many people but not feel like everybody is cramped. There are many games, a pool table, foosball, ping pong, and places to read a book and relax. It also has a large mud room for ski boots, jackets, gloves, etc. to hang and dry out overnight. Our plumbing remodel in 2020 brought the house up to 21st Century Standards with plenty of hot water, volume and great pressure for all four bathrooms and two kitchens to operate simultaneously with no issues! This is an old house with 21st Century plumbing and electric!
