Villa Weyermann - Apartment

Whether you are looking for the trade fair peace, want to relax after a hike or it is available before the carnival season in Cologne is the city Villa in the idyllic town of Leichlingen just the thing for you.

Leichlingen with its traditions and with its rich history is a place that has the characteristics of the city and yet has the closeness to nature. The friendly locals are proud that they are Leichlinger. The well-developed infrastructure of the city and long-standing traditions meet in Leichlingen.

The center of town with all shops and cafes can be reached in 5 minutes. Yet the closeness to nature and especially for the beautiful Wupper environment makes the situation so special. The river is about 100 meters from the house. The shore is ideal for beautiful walks.

The beautiful house gives you plenty of space to relax. All apartments are equipped with free wireless. The parquet wood floors in all living areas and modern large bathroom ensure your comfort.

For some Sleeps exist: the comfortable double bed and two sofa beds in each separate rooms. The dining area is located in the light-filled kitchen with garden views. The kitchen is fully equipped for your cooking pleasure. Although the ceilings are almost 4 meters high, but the apartment stays warm even in the cold seasons thanks to the new modern central heating. In midsummer, the room has a pleasant temperature. Because of the thick old walls, the apartment is not overheated.

The nearest grocery store can be reached in 10 seconds and has until 22:00 on. A bakery with fresh bread is also there. Twice a week the weekly market opens its doors, where the finest ingredients available for your table.

For food lovers, there are good restaurants in walking distance available. Cologne and Dusseldorf are within a 20 minute drive. After Cologne, the direct train is very convenient. For this you need a 15 minute walk and 15 minutes by train.

Nice place, excellent host

House was nice. A bit smaller than we expected, but overall functional. A bit on the cold side even with the heating on, but the weather was pretty bad so it was to be expected. Host was responsive, helpful, and quick to reply. Overall, a nice stay.

Insgesamt gut, aber doch unvorteilhafte Raumaufteilung. Eines der beiden Schlafzimmer sehr groß, der Wohn-Ess-Kochbereich dagegen eher klein.Der Park befindet sich nicht auf dem Grundstück.

Ein entspanntes Wochenende in einem charmanten alten Wohnhaus

Wir waren das Wochenende bei Freunden eingeladen, und die grosse Wohnung mit Kueche und zwei Schlafzimmern klang nach mehr Spass as sterile Hotelzimmer zum vergleichbaren Gesamtpreis (wir reisten zu Dritt). Wie ich im Titel schrieb, es ist ein charmantes altes Haus, wohl eine ehemalige Gaststube und Cafe mit Garten :) Das heisst Altbau mit hohen Decken, ein tolles altes Treppenhaus und grosse Zimmer. Die Fenster sind neu und gut isoliert, aber am Ende von Leichlingen ist eh nicht viel los, und so war es auch sehr ruhig. Die Kommunikation mit den Eigentuemer war reibungslos und sehr hilfbereich. Parken ist sowohl auf dem Grundstueck, aber auch kostenlos gegenueber dem Rewe moeglich. Wer auf schicken hochmodernen Neubau steht ist hier verkehrt, aber uns hat es allen sehr gut gefallen und wir wuerden es auch wieder buchen. Danke schoen!

Die Wohnung ist so veraltet und lieblos und geschmacklos gestaltet, dass es nicht angenehm ist, dort Zeit zu verbringen. Wir haben in der Wohnung kein einziges Mal gegessen. Sie war uns nicht angenehm. Die Lage ist prima und wir haben dort gut geschlafen. Ich würde diese Wohnung nicht wieder buchen und ich werde sie nicht weiterempfehlen. Sie sollten darin ein bisschen investieren.

Sehr ungemütliche Ferienwohnung, sehr lieblos eingerichtet. Lampen waren kaputt,,die Bettwäsche nicht gebügelt und das küchentubehör unvollständig. Das Haus insgesamt sehr schmutzig und unordentlich. Das Badezimmer war eine Dunkelkammer. Wir waren insgesamt sehr enttäuscht. Für den Preis…. Unverschämt. Wir kommen nicht mehr wieder

Empfehlenswert.

Ich gebe fünf Sterne, weil die Unterkunft wirklich sehr schön und ruhig ist und bequeme Betten hat. Toll ist, dass man im grossen Garten den überdachten Sitzbereich mitnutzen und nach Absprache sogar Grillen darf. Aber wichtiger Hinweis: Es werden drei Schlafzimmer mit bis zu 6 Personen angegeben. In Wirklichkeit sind es zwei (!!) Schlafzimmer mit je zwei Betten (Zimmer 1: Doppelbett; Zimmer 2: zwei Einzelbetten nebeneinander) und ein ausziehbares Schlafsofa steht noch in der Küche. Das Klo/Bad ist leider nur über eine Tür in (!) der Küche zu erreichen. Es gibt auch keinen Flur, so dass der im hintersten Schlafzimmer durch das nächste Schlafzimmer und die Küche muss, um zu Bad/Toilette zu gelangen.
