Welcome to Laramie River Lodge - a nearly 9,000 sf lodge in south central Wyoming that's perfect for family reunions, retreats and small gatherings. From our chinked log Great Room to our enormous Dining Area, your group will enjoy the Lodge's spacious rooms, private bathrooms in most bedrooms, and porches with wonderful mountain views.

With the Laramie River running right through our property, spend your days fishing to your heart's content. Adventure-seekers will enjoy nearby ATVing or snowmobiling, snow skiing at the nearby Snowy Range Ski Area - just 30-45 minutes away. Or simply relax by one of the Lodge's fireplaces or cozy covered porches.

Relaxing spot

Nice cabin, beautiful area, wildlife right in the back yard. Quiet road & helpful owners! Would reccomend. Wish it had a hot tub.

St. Francis, KS High School Senior Trip 2024

We stayed from Saturday- to Tuesday. Ate at Woods Landing Restaurant. They were very accommodating, and the kids had a great time there. The house was very spacious and worked perfectly for our group. The hosts did everything they could to answer our questions leading up to the trip. I would highly recommend staying at this location.

Love the Place

We were met by the owner when we arrived and were given a tour of the lodge. Loved the open spaces and it was larger than the pictures appeared (this was a pleasant surprise). There was plenty of room for the entire family. Kids loved the game room, and we enjoyed the beautiful scenery, and it was spacious enough for all. Plenty of beds and showers for everyone. I would recommend this place for any family gathering!

Family gathering for skiing, snowmobiling and Christmas Olympics

It’s a great location for skiing, snowmobiling and shopping. The housing fits all our family needs. The only thing I feel that is lacking was the need for more dish towels and rags and better hot pads.

Ryan and Abby, Jim and Robyne purchased this property together as a family with the intention to create a space for families and friends to retreat and spend quality time together. We are from Fort Collins, Colorado and enjoy spending time in Medicine Bow as much as we can.

Why they chose this property

Nestled in the foothills on 17+acres, there is room to spread out and enjoy the outdoors without even leaving home. Being outdoor-lovers, avid campers, fishers and skiers, having a place too enjoy nature was really important to us. We love this little slice of Wyoming and feel blessed to share it with you.

What makes this property unique

We love this property because it has fun for everyone year-round.

In the winter, Laramie River Lodge is perfectly situated to snow sports like skiing and snowmobiling. It has 6 fireplaces so everyone can warm up after along day in the snow. Sleeping 28 people, it is perfect for family reunions, ski trips, church retreats.

In the summer, hiking and fishing are only steps away. With Laramie River running right through the property, you can enjoy the water with ease. ATV trails are easily accessible and Albany Lodge is close for simple rentals and days of adventuring.
