We actually live on a farm in Nebraska where we raise corn and beans and feed cattle. Albany Wyoming is our vacation spot where we own the Teachers cabin and the property adjacent to it. We built our family cabin, there. We really like the area and enjoy spending time there. Our children and grandchildren love the summer and winter activities of the area so it is a great place for us all to get together. We bought this property adjacent to ours from 2 retired teachers so continue to call it 'The Teachers' cabin. We know that you will fall in love with this area like we did! In the morning or evening you may look out your window to see moose, deer, a fox, or even a bear in the summer.
Why they chose this property
We bought the property that we built our cabin on in 2001 because our grown kids loved to come here snowmobiling in the winter. After we built the cabin, 4-wheeling in the summer became a favorite. We bought The Teachers cabin because it was adjacent to ours and a beautiful area. After totally renovating the cabin we decided to rent it out.
What makes this property unique
You will not find a more beautiful area where you have access by car or truck and can snowmobile or drive ATV's right from the property. You can sit in the sunroom and hear the creek that is right outside the door, or start the fire in the wood burning stove and curl up on the couch and watch for moose outside the window. The property is surrounded by Medicine Bow National Forrest. There are many great fishing lakes nearby and hunting opportunities. We are also only about 30 minutes from the Snowy Range ski area.
