Welcome to our Bayou Grande waterfront oasis! During show season, relax on the private dock and watch the Blue Angels practice overhead each week. Flying so close you can see the pilot as he makes his turn between the dock and the house! Have a boat? Tie up to the dock and have easy water access to the beach and the pass to the Gulf of Mexico. No boat? Enjoy the outdoor amenities on property or take a kayak or SUP out for an adventure on the bayou!

Full of character and charm, you’ll feel right at home once you settle into the open living/dining area and enjoy the water view out the wall of floor-to-ceiling windows. Each bedroom has a TV and a dedicated bathroom. Enjoy cooking with a fully-functional kitchen that includes new appliances and a gas stove. Enjoy your time outside on the hammock or hang out around the fire ring. In addition you’ll find the garage stocked with amenities including a second refrigerator, 2-person kayak, 4 camping chairs, 2 fishing poles and other miscellaneous fishing gear, life jackets, cooler, sand toys, and a utility cart.

Wonderful, relaxing property!

The place was so relaxing! The dock was perfect and we got a front row seat to the Blue Angels practice while we were there! The house had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors were friendly. We got to see dolphins, crabs, fish, and sting rays all from the dock! David was so helpful and very responsive to our questions. He made several great recommendations that made our stay even better and it was great to chat with him. Check-in and check-out was super easy. We would definitely come back to this beautiful home!

Best place for family in Pensacola

One of the best places to stay in Pensacola! Where else do you get a beautiful house on a waterway to fish(caught several). Watch the Blue Angels practice right over the water by the dock. Be close to so many great things to do within 15 minutes away and so much more. I gained 5 pounds at least from all the great restaurants that the host suggested. You didn’t need anything because the host already thought of it!

I am a proud girl dad who loves to play music and enjoy everything Pensacola has to offer. We are originally from Ohio but made Pensacola our home 12+ years ago. We love this community and love to share our local knowledge with our guests!

Why they chose this property

This was our first family home. It was originally built in the 1930s and then was painstakingly renovated by the previous owner after hurricane Ivan. After we purchased this property we continued the renovations to turn the home into what it is today. We appreciate that it still holds much of the charm that we fell in love with on day 1. Once my wife and I both began working from home we found we needed a bit more space and moved into another neighborhood here in Pensacola. We rent this house as a short term rental so we may continue to have access to the house from time-to-time while sharing it with family, friends, and guests!

What makes this property unique

This house is a hidden gem located close to everything. The best part is how peaceful the property can be. Secondly, you're, at max, a15-20 minute drive from everything Escambia county has to offer: beaches, restaurants, bars, golf courses, shopping, etc. You're also about 5 minutes from a boat launch and the front gate of NAS Pensacola.

Lastly, Bayou Grande is probably has one of the best boat access points to quickly and easily reach the Gulf of Mexico or to take your boat to Pensacola and Perdido beaches.
