Great property with excellent space both out outdoor and in. We had a great stay, using it as our base camp to explore Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens. The time spent at the house was very relaxing with most of the family time happening on the beautiful porch. Would/will definitely stay here again!

We stayed in this comfortable house during great summer weather, just a 30 minute drive to Morton. (Current road work on Highway 12 put on an extra 10 minutes to the drive.) such a welcoming home, Quiet neighborhood, some lovely lake views, a pleasant walk to the lake where it’s a great spot to put in a paddleboard. Short drive to Ike Kinswa State Park. We loved staying here!

Fabulous restful home and location!

This phone provided a perfect setting for four longtime friends to relax and talk and eat and visit and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and close to the beautiful lake. Would highly recommend this house!

Terrific stay at Harmony Retreat

Cheerful, Harmony Retreat

This lovely home was so cheerfully decorated, very clean and fully stocked with anything you would need. It provided many spaces for relaxing and was very well maintained. The host was very attentive to our requests and gave very detailed information for our stay. The hot tub was a definite bonus!

Perfect getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and peaceful place. Lots of personal touches, plenty of space to gather in the living room and outside on the amazing deck. Nice lake views and access (could walk down to the dock with our SUPs), quiet neighborhood, close to places to go hiking. They thoughtfully provide everything you might need, and even a lovely gift basket with snacks and treats- a nice surprise for the kids and adults!

Great house, very hospitable hosts

We loved our stay. They house was clean and everything we could need was there. It was friendly and inviting, and the garden was delightful! I very much appreciated the information folder they left for us. It was a big help. All in all a great place for our little vacation. Thank you!

Very welcoming. Easy place to settle in to with a well stocked kitchen. Lovely view from the balcony. Nice restaurants nearby (recommend Great Wall, Chinese food) as well as an adequate grocery store in nearby Morton. Great place to stay if you are going to mt Rainer and/or Mt St Helens

End of Summer Memories

I was able to watch 4 grandchildren experience childhood adventures similar to their parents at Lake Mayfield while staying at Harmony Retreat The accommodations were great both inside and outside. We were able to use the local dock to fish and swim and it was close by all the old stomping grounds that their parents played in. it was a great time, many memories were made and they can’t wait until they can come back next year. Plenty of bed space, and portable sleeping the deck had lots of seating areas plenty of games, puzzles and reading material Lots of comfy blankets and we all enjoyed the hot tub at the end of the day

Best VRBO Ever

Wonderful property. Lovely garden area surrounding, house decorated in bring, welcoming colors. Beds, couches, etc. amazingly comfortable. If you like to cook, this kitchen is nirvana, starting with Jenn Air stove, lovely, colorful dishwater, and any tool, etc. you might want in a kitchen. The owner has put her personal touch on every room and we both kept smiling as we found yet another "special touch". Owner goes out of her way to see that everything is perfect for her guests, plenty of supplies, i.e, soap, paper towels, etc. unlike many rentals we have stayed at in the past. You will be amazed. Can hardly wait to return.

I loved sitting on the deck enjoying the expansive view of the hills in the distance and of the lake. The large covered deck area also has a garden view. Having a roof over the deck was good for both shade from the sun and also occasional rain. The location is great in a well maintained neighborhood. Using the boat launch at nearby Ike Kinswa State Park worked well for meeting my kayak buddy who was camping there. A great home away from home.

Fantastic cabin trip with the gang!

We had a great time on the property. There's a short walk to the lake with a dock and picnic table on the shore. We made great use of the grill, fire pit and huge covered deck. You can tell that the owners of this place have actually stayed here and invested in making it comfortable. Plenty of stuff in the kitchen for basic cooking needs, cozy robes everywhere and tons of seating options were all greatly appreciated. Super close to some great hikes and a state park as well.

A lovely, quiet property with a slice of lake view from a generous, shaded, wrap-around deck and a delightful garden area. We have enjoyed Harmony Retreat many times and always find it to be a wonderful experience. Excellent host, very clean, and well-stocked with all amenities for cooking and comfort.

We picked this spot because of its proximity to Seattle, Portland, Mt. Rainier, and nearby lakes. We did have to drive a bit each day but its centrality was great. The location is beautiful, peaceful and definitely "as advertised." OUr host was communicative and helpful. We plan to return!

Wonderful place

What a wonderful place you have! We loved the view. We relaxed in the hot tub. We enjoyed the walks. The kitchen was large enough for the family to work together. We really enjoyed the openness of the living area. We were thrilled with the abundance of cozy blankets spread around the house. The luxury bathrobes arel an elegant touch. The surplus of nice towels was great. And the deck was amazing. Thank you for the gift basket, although we left you the wine, the grandkids loved the snacks! The hostess is amazing in communication and takes care of every need you have. She is a great communicator. We all had a wonderful time.

Family fishing trip

We had my brother from Wis, 4 cousins from NC, Az and Ca as well as my 75 year old Uncle all fly in to go fishing for a long weekend. The house was very roomy and we ate dinners out on the deck at night. Great place and wonderful environment.
