Wow!! This home is spectacular!! From the amazing views from every room to every and any water toy you can imagine. I’ve stayed in many vacations rentals, but this house was without the absolute BEST house I’ve stayed at. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you’d need, Honestly, I can’t say anything bad about this awesome home, and that’s the truth!! Deborah was FABULOUS; she made herself available 24/7, which says a lot!! I was the person who booked this home for a sisters’ trip. I along with my two sisters and my two cousins from California thoroughly enjoyed our time at this lovely home. I was nervous because you just never know about renting a place online, but this house did not disappoint!! I genuinely hope to return to Hyannis, and I wouldn’t stay anywhere but at this amazing house!!
We had an amazing stay and the windmill house. The house was beautiful and as described.
Our experience at the windmill was great, the house had everything you could need and more.
It is such a relaxing place in the perfect location.
Deb was very accommodating and a wonderful host.
We look forward to staying here again.
We had a lovely stay at the Windmill house. Views were great. Neighborhood was nice and quiet; perfect for going on a walk or lounging on the private beach. House could use some new window shades, but we would definitely stay here again.
My parents, brother and his family, and I stayed here for a few days. We were immediately blown away by the views, which were front and center from every room. Lots of cozy chairs and couches and two large decks. I loved that there were two living rooms, which allowed us to spread out. The kitchen was nicely updated and included just about everything you could need. We didn't even mind staying in for a day because of the rain because it was so beautiful and homey there.
This home was so cute, clean, well maintained and unique. We had a relaxing weekend cooking in the well equipped kitchen and enjoying views from every window as well as the cozy fireplace.
We were fortunate to have enough sun to sit on the deck in January and were happy the furniture was still out.
I got almost instant responses on the VRBO app for a few questions. Great house!
This home is spectacular! Deb, the owner, is very responsive and has really thought of everything that you could need for this home. We came with our twin girls, who loved going across the way to the inlet to catch crabs and paddle board for their first time. The views from this home are incredible! Just being able to sit outside and look at the view is enough. The town of Hyannis is about a 7 min drive and offers so many good restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed our stay tremendously! Thanks again Deb!
We stayed over Thanksgiving week, wanting to avoid crowds but staying close enough to drive to sites on the Cape. The house is even better than the photos; short walk to park with beach was beautiful with fall colors, birds, and sunsets. We traveled with 2 young adults, 3 teens, and 2 parents; enough sofas to have own quiet time/snuggle, heaters worked well, 3 bathrooms/showers were good to have, top bedroom slightly creaky when wind blew windmill arms. Kitchen well-stocked to cook most meals including Thanksgiving turkey and ham. Neighbors pretty friendly. Owner was very organized, responsive from reserving 2months in advance to our last day; truly great experience among the houses we have rented. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful house, great location, amazing views
We loved our stay at the Windmill house. The views are spectacular and every morning waking up to that amazing view really starts off the day in the right direction. Views from every room! House was very comfortable and we appreciated the amenities the owner provides (paper towels, TP, soap, etc.). We had one small issue on the first night and the owners were very responsive. The owner's sister has a local juice company in town (Local Juice) and gave us some flavors to try, which was kind of her and delicious. Great location for beach, Main St shopping and dining, or exploring the Cape. We would absolutely recommend this house to others and plan to return!
This unique property has one of the most beautiful views of an inlet, marsh and ocean combo that I have seen in Cape Cod. The photos in the listing do not do this view justice-you have to see it yourself. All will enjoy exploring this area from the neighborhood park.
The house is wonderful for adults and children with two living areas, large kitchen with everything you could want, large master with bath and it’s own deck, nice second bedroom, and a third room on the top floor with three beds- great for kids. The “windmill” creaks when breezy in that bedroom, but all the pros of this house more than make up for it.
There are many bikes and beach items in the garage which were nice to have even though we didn’t use them. Hyannis has plenty of restaurants and activities, so you won’t be bored, and its central location is great to see the rest of the cape.
In addition to all this, the owner is very responsive. You won’t regret using this VRBO rental!

Family Graduation celebration
The stay at the windmill was all it was read to be! The home and site were beautiful and abundant living area and perfectly supplied. We took our boys and their wife/ girlfriend to celebrate their graduating from college. They both were college baseball players and wanted to see Fenway Park. Very good location to see all in the Cape area. Also very convenient for ferry to Martha's Vineyard. Great restaurants we really loved Captain Parkers Pub......best clam chowder......next time going there early in trip....three bowls....and taking quart or four for carry out for rest of trip! Only downside to trip was Budget/ Avis rental car line waited 2 hours to get car......rent from someone else! Great house for up to 8-10 people....had games there played Monopoly till 3 am with cocktails was great! Rent with confidence here!

This spot has tranquility and lots of water activities too. Very well maintained. Highly recommend
This was our second stay at the Windmill house in 2018. The setting simply can not be beat! The water views are stunning from every deck and window, and we could even here the striped bass feeding on the surface at night! We enjoyed the canoe every day and loved the bird watching and had lots of success with the striper fishing and netting blue claw crabs too. The walk to Halls creek takes about 5 minutes and at low tide you can wade across the sand bar to the Nantucket sound. There are plenty of shells to find. The house is very clean and well equipped. The house easily accommated 3 couples and a Toddler. Any family with young kids will love this spot. It also has the tranquility if you are looking for an adult getaway with lots of privacy. Acess to restaurants and shops in Hyannis is only a 5-10 min drive. Our favorite was the Black Cat for seafood but there many choices. The ferries to Nantucket and Marthas Vineyard are only 5 minutes away. We went to Nantucket via the high speed ferry and enjoyed it despite bad weather.
Highly recommend for families with small children looking for safe water access, adults needing a quiet nature experience or outdoors oriented people who like to fish and/or explore on a kayak or canoe. There is one kayak ( we could have used a second!), a 2 person canoe and a row boat. Some bikes too.
Andy is a remote manager but he was very helpful and flexible. He has family nearby if you run into any problems. We booked 2 weeks in 2019 already and everyone is excited.
Tolles Haus mit super Blick zum Meer . Für alles ist gesorgt. Wir waren mit der Familie 6 Personen für 8 Tage und haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Kommen gerne wieder
Best Cape house!!! Fully stocked home including: pots/pans, Tupperware, spices, bath towels, beach towels, beach chairs, paddle boards, bicycles, canoe, puzzles, games… and so much more! Pictures are an exact match to the house. See you next year, Windmill!
We had an absolutely amazing stay at the Windmill!! The home is beautifully decorated and felt like a true home away from home. Every detail has been thoughtfully prepared and Deb was incredibly welcoming and responsive. The location is perfect and that view...spectacular. We can't wait to come back!!
Had an amazing stay—such an amazing location and beautiful property! Deborah was also extremely responsive the entire stay, quickly answering any questions that I had and giving great recommendations of good restaurants/things to do in the area!
The beautiful pictures and description of this place does not do it justice. When pulling up to the house, the view of the house was an exciting introduction. Then as you make your way up the path, turn to look across the sound, you realize either way you look you have arrived at the perfect place. Can’t say enough good things about the house inside and out. Made our trip up to the Cape one to remember for a lifetime. Deb was also a pleasure to communicate with, helping with any questions and also making some great recommendations for fun and dining.
This place is absolutely one of the best VRBO's we have ever stayed at, Cape Cod is beautiful and the people are so friendly. Deb the owner we an awesome communicator and we cannot thank her enough. This is a 5 start place!!
We rented this expensive property based on its location and photos. We were duped. Our check in time was 4:00 pm on Sunday. We had travelled from far away to check in 10 minutes early, desiring simply to unload our things, take a shower, and relax. INSTEAD, WE ENTERED THE HOUSE TO FIND IT FILTHY--GARBAGE ON THE FLOOR, BINS OVERFLOWING, SHEETS AND TOWELS ON THE FLOOR AND UNMADE BEDS. We exited and called the owner. After about 30 to 40 minutes of back and forth, the owner had a cleaning crew come to the property and told us to "go out to a nice restaurant and come back in several hours." She offered only to cover the cost of a dinner, not to reduce the cost of our stay by a night. If we had suddenly, without notice, told her we were staying an extra few hours on our check out day she would have charged us an extra night. When we were able to get back in, it was pitch black and we couldn't find "the path" she recommended to use. The house was warm and we had to find the directions for the room a/c units because she couldn't describe how to operate them. The house itself in very dim, there are few lights and they are insufficient. My wife showered in the dim master bath shower. It was only when she looked at it in the light of day that she saw a lot of "black grungy filth" on the shower head, door, and frame. She had to clean the shower for our stay. Further, we had to put out the garbage on our first night even though the cleaners had just been there.
Great stay, great views, great location
Such a memorable vacation for the kids, they were so excited about the windmill. House is fully stocked, which is so helpful
We absolutely loved our stay at the Windmill. The house is exactly as described, very clean, well stocked, and in a great location. We loved it so much that we already booked a week for next summer! Thank you, Deborah for being a great host!
